That’s a wrap on the 2026 Gaming & Leadership Conference.

Over two days at the Western Sydney Convention Centre, Penrith, industry leaders, club professionals and partners came together to explore this year’s theme, “More Than Now: Exploring a Resilient Future.”

Jointly presented by Leagues Clubs Australia (LCA) and the RSL & Services Clubs Association, the conference featured important discussions around demographic change, gaming innovation, workplace wellbeing, AI and the future of club marketing, economic outlooks, regulatory trends and AML/CTF considerations impacting the club industry.

The conference concluded with a powerful closing address from Dan Fortune, DSC and Bar, who challenged delegates to continually strive to become better leaders, colleagues and individuals.

A sincere thank you to our Principal Conference Partners IGT Gaming EMEA and Everi Holdings Inc., along with our valued event sponsors Asahi Beverages, Campari Group, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, De Bortoli Wines, Hennessy Coffee, Lion Beverages, Paynter Dixon, Treasury Wine Estates and Warren Saunders Insurance Brokers for their continued support.

Most importantly, thank you to all delegates, speakers and industry partners who contributed to another successful conference focused on strengthening the future of clubs across Australia.

LCA is proud to celebrate the graduation of Lacey, the SmartPup we have proudly supported throughout her training journey. 🐾

Smart Pups Assistance Dogs provides highly trained assistance dogs to children living with autism, seizures, and other support needs, helping improve safety, emotional regulation, independence and everyday family life.

Over the past year, we have enjoyed following Lacey’s development and seeing the incredible care, dedication and training that goes into preparing Smart Pups assistance dogs for placement with families across Australia.

Congratulations to the entire Smart Pups team, trainers and volunteers whose work continues to change lives and strengthen communities.

We look forward to sharing the next chapter of Lacey’s journey soon, as she readies herself for placement in June ❤️

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

What a fantastic night!

LCA was proud to support the Parliamentary Friends of Rugby League’s annual City v Country clash at Suncorp Stadium.

40 members of Parliament joined some of our Maroons rugby league legends on the field for a game of touch footy.

The City team - coached by Jonathan Thurston, defeated the Country team - coached by Ali Brigginshaw, in extra time.

LCA and ClubsNSW are proud sponsors of the NRL Parliamentary Friends of Rugby League concept.
