With the recent bushfire impact at Mafeking, we previously made the difficult decision not to run Mudbash in its usual format this year so the site could have the time it needs to recover properly.

Unfortunately, we also need to advise that the planned Mafeking Open Day over the King’s Birthday long weekend will no longer be going ahead. With the Shire's continued road closures in the area (except for local residents), the ongoing clean-up in the district of trees and debris, and the stress that the local community is going through, it's not safe nor fair to go ahead with an event like the open day.

Further communication will be out next week.

Thank you everyone for your understanding and ongoing support of Mafeking - we look forward to being back in the future when conditions allow

Today, we pause and reflect on 111 years since the Gallipoli campaign and commemorate all Australians who have served in times of peace and war 🇦🇺

Across Australia today, Rovers are participating in Anzac Day ceremonies to honour those who have served and their sacrifices. Many Rovers have taken part in Anzac vigils at their local memorials, and today attended services to commemorate the Anzacs🕯️
