One Disease We believe no Australian should die of a preventable disease. Crusted Scabies affects 1 in 392 people in the Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia.

One Disease is a non-profit organisation that aims to eliminate Crusted Scabies from remote Indigenous communities in Australia by 2022. If left untreated, individuals have a 50% mortality rate over 5 years. The impact of Crusted Scabies is beyond the individual who suffers from this debilitating disease. They are the 'super-spreaders' of scabies and can infect anyone that is in close contact with them. Thereby, adding to the already heavy scabies burden in Indigenous communities.
