The Big Feed set out to do something simple but a little bit radical: create an an ecosystem of everyday givers, the communities who understand their own challenges best, and the experts, volunteers and advocates willing to roll up their sleeves alongside them.
We figured if those people got around the one table, things would start to shift, and they did.
For the last 12 months we have developed and run a grant program (per the video) with the aim of finding food-solutions that would help Aussies living in regional and remote places.
We have just awarded our very first Community Grant to Mulan Aboriginal Corporation. (We are stoked that it also happens to be NAIDOC week 🖤💛❤️.)
