Youthworks LIT Week Recap

Year 9–12s. One week. Young Christian leaders in the making. 🔥

Leaders in Training (LIT) is where friendships are forged, God's Word shapes hearts and minds, and students are trained and equipped to lead with confidence in their churches, schools and communities.

This past week, our campers:

📖 Spent time each day on their own with God's Word and prayer, free from distraction
🎶 Came together to worship, open Scripture and spur one another on in faith
🧭 Stepped into leadership training and went deep into the book of Micah

Seeing young people hungry for God's Word and ready to lead has been such a joy. 🙌

To every camper who showed up and gave it their all: thank you. You made this week what it was. And to everyone who prayed for our team, thank you.

Great to see Youthworks College Academic Dean Dr Andrew Spalding presenting this seminar for Gafcon.

Please pray for the Gafcon Theological Educators Network, which brings together those involved in training and equipping the next generation of orthodox Anglican leaders around the world.

Give thanks for its latest online seminar, where Dr Andrew Spalding from Youthworks College in Australia presented on “Teaching Wisdom: Proverbs 1–9 as a Model for Theological Education.” Andrew encouraged educators to shape moral imagination, form humble listeners, train discernment amid competing voices, and reorder our affections through the fear of the Lord.

Please pray that theological colleges and training institutions across the Global Anglican Communion will not only impart faithful biblical knowledge, but also form godly character, model Christian maturity, encourage thoughtful questions, and equip wise and discerning leaders for Christ’s Church.
