Stopped by a petrol station in West Ryde and noticed a wall of photos showing drivers who allegedly filled up and drove off without paying.

What surprised me wasn't the number of incidents — it was the number of nice cars on display. 🚗⛽

It seems some people can afford the Porsche, BMW, Mercedes or Audi... but not the petrol. 🤔😂

Remember folks, petrol stations aren't running a "fill now, pay never" promotion.

Spotted on Chatham Road, Eastwood: a tyre enjoying its retirement. 🛞🌳

After many years of faithful service, it appears this wheel has decided to settle down on a nice patch of council grass and enjoy the view.

Unfortunately, unlike garden gnomes, abandoned tyres don't belong in our parks and streets.

If this tyre belongs to you, it's waiting patiently for a reunion. 😂

Not sure where it’s heading, but judging by its location, it’s either:

* Waiting for a bus,
* Going clubbing,
* Or avoiding being returned to the trolley bay.

Glen Street, Eastwood at night: where the plants are thriving… but the bins clearly gave up hours ago. 🌱🥤😅

At this point, the local planter box has officially become the unofficial recycling centre of Eastwood.

Bubble tea cups: 7
Coffee cups: 3
One lonely V can still fighting for survival ⚡️

Meanwhile the kids in the background still have more energy than all of us combined at 9pm.

🌳 BREAKING NEWS: North Ryde Tree Apparently Has Enemies 🌳😂

A mature Eucalyptus saligna tree at Coxs Road has reportedly been vandalised, prompting Council officers, investigations, inspections, monitoring, community concern, and probably emotional support for nearby possums.

Council confirmed the tree was attacked on private property, proving once again that even trees in North Ryde can’t avoid drama. Authorities are now investigating the “tree crime scene” and reminding everyone that vandalising trees is a serious offence.

Meanwhile, the tree is said to be “branching out” with legal representation. 🌿⚖️

If anyone witnessed suspicious behaviour involving bark, chainsaws, or someone losing an argument with nature, Council would like to hear from you. 😂
