A helping hand for those in need
The recent catastrophic bush fire emergency has affected many ordinary Australians who now find themselves in a difficult and devastating situation. For some families, getting back on their feet will be a tough and grueling process.
Many would be happy to take what they can find when it comes to furniture and filling their homes. But what if we could do more for them.
Many of us have unused furniture, and decorative items in our garages which in many cases will end up in land fill. We could give new life to these things through up-cycling and re-purposing, find other items which will compliment each other and use them to create beautiful and meaningful homes for the families and individuals in need.
Hands to Homes is a community project where we call all put in a hand, and together make a huge difference to so many.
