The Foundation aims to support initiatives in physics, engineering and associated sciences in medicine that engender new technology for higher quality healthcare techniques and better outcomes for patients and their communities. To promote the safe and appropriate use of medical technology

In order to achieve its objects the Foundation will:
• Promote

research in Australia and New Zealand
• Support training and education initiatives in low to middle-income countries
• Share information and facilitate knowledge exchange
• Undertake other charitable activities at the direction of the ACPSEM
• Govern and manage well. Promote research in Australia and New Zealand

1.1.3. Facilitate mentor programs for researchers
1.1.4. Promote collaboration between hospitals, universities and medical research institutions

2. Facilitate training and education in low to middle-income countries

2.1.3. Empower healthcare workers
2.1.4. Coordinate volunteer assignments
2.1.5. Provide grants that support these activities

3. Share information and facilitate knowledge exchange
