Today we come together to honour all who have served, and all who gave their lives for Australia.

For our Australian Chinese Ex-Services community, Remembrance Day is a powerful reminder of the generations of Chinese-Australian men and women who have worn the uniform with courage and pride. Many served quietly, without recognition, but their contribution to Australia’s defence is an important part of our shared history.

Today, we remember them.
We honour their sacrifice.
And we celebrate the legacy they leave for all of us.

At 11am, we ask our community to join us in a moment of silence to reflect on the cost of peace, the meaning of service, and the values we carry forward.

Lest we forget.

It was great to meet with Lord Mayor Clover Moore and Placemaking CEO Anita Mitchell to discuss the long term protection and future enhancement of the Australian Chinese Ex- Services Monument in Sydney CBD.

We were very honoured to have members of the Australian Defence Force and local council at todays meeting. The monument is one of Australia’s greatest landmarks, symbolising the power of multiculturalism, acceptance and service.
