Women in Hospitality Women in Hospitality is an organisation to support women in the hospitality industry. Based in Austr Together we can learn from each other and grow.

Women in Hospitality is a Not-For-Profit organisation that supports and fosters career development of women in the hospitality industry. We do this in several ways:
– A Mentor Program exclusively for WOHO members
– Networking Events
– Access to Industry leaders and professionals
– Exposure for jobs and exposure to roles where we need more women
– A voice to assist with influencing policy makers fo

**Today is IDAHOBIT**
The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia.

It marks the day in 1990 when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases. A milestone in LGBTQIA+ history — but also a reminder that the fight for equality isn’t over.

In Australia today:
🏳️‍🌈 68% of LGBTQIA+ employees aren’t fully out at work
🏳️‍🌈 2 in 3 LGBTQIA+ young people face abuse because of who they are
🏳️‍🌈 35% have experienced verbal abuse in the past year

At WOHO, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported at work.

There’s no place for discrimination in hospitality or anywhere else.

& have teamed up for the next intake of WOHO's Mentor Program, joining forces to break down barriers and open doors for women & non binary people to excel and lead in the hospitality & fermentation industries. ⁠

We are so proud to announce this collaboration - it is rooted in a shared commitment to empower & uplift women & non binary people in the dynamic & ever-evolving hospitality & fermentation industries. ⁠

The next intake of the WOHO & Pink Boots Mentor Program will launch in January 2024, & applications are now open to those across the hospitality industry who are seeking mentorship, guidance, & the opportunity to network with industry leaders. ⁠
