Some lives leave footprints on your heart, connecting you through shared love, shared loss and shared hope. Levi Roodenburg is one of them.

Last month, our hearts broke when Levi died from DIPG at just nine years old. He leaves behind his beautiful family — his mum Nat, dad Luke, and his sisters, Sofia and Olivia — and a community who loved him beyond measure.

Levi was full of life. He was happiest with a ball in his hands, surrounded by his mates, cheering on his team or making people laugh. Sport was his passion, but his greatest joy was the love of his family.

The similarities between our two Levis are extraordinary. Just a year apart in age, they were diagnosed around the same time with the same devastating disease. Both loved sport. Both have an older sister named Olivia. Both were wrapped in the love of families and communities who would have done anything to save them.

In honour of their beautiful boy, the Roodenburg’s have created livn4levi — a legacy dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds for DIPG research, while inspiring others to live with the same courage, kindness and joy that Levi brought to every day.

We are honoured that Livin for Levi will be joining forces with Levi’s Project to help fund the research that gives children with DIPG hope. Together with their incredible community, the Roodenburgs will be hosting a series of fundraisers over the coming months, and we look forward to sharing more as they unfold.

It is an honour to stand beside the Roodenburg family as they carry their love for Levi into a legacy of hope, all the while walking the most difficult path with the tenderest, rawest hearts.

We’re incredibly proud to welcome Endeavour Conveyancing Services as one of our 2026 charity partners

For more than 30 years, Colin and his team have been helping families navigate one of life’s biggest milestones - buying a home - with care, expertise and genuine service. Now, every property settlement will also help create hope for children diagnosed with brain cancer.

For every conveyancing transaction they complete each month, they’ll donate a portion of their fees to Levi’s Project, helping fund vital childhood brain cancer research.

At Levi’s Project, we’re privileged to partner with businesses that believe success is measured not only by what you build, but by what you give back.

Thank you Colin and the Endeavour Conveyancing team ✨

šŸ’”The future of childhood brain cancer research just got a whole lot brighter

Last week, Children’s Cancer Institute hosted the world’s premier conference on paediatric brain tumour research — the International Symposium on Paediatric Neuro-Oncology (ISPNO 2026) — bringing together almost 1,000 delegates from 56 countries to share discoveries that could shape the next generation of treatments.

Children’s Cancer Institute were centre stage at this prestigious international event. Professor David Ziegler, head of Levi’s Project, was the Chair of ISPNO 2026. Associate Professor Maria Tsoli, the Levi Wheeler Fellow, and Dr Aaminah Khan from the Brain Tumours Group, were both on the organising team and led panels. They were joined by many other outstanding Children's Cancer Institute researchers who were instrumental in bringing the world's leading clinicians, scientists and researchers together to exchange ideas, forge collaborations and accelerate progress for children with brain cancer.

The science was nothing short of inspiring. For the first time in ISPNO’s history, there were two dedicated scientific sessions focused solely on DIPG/DMG — a reflection of the incredible momentum building in the field. More than 160 abstracts were submitted on these devastating tumours alone.

Children’s Cancer Institute and their collaborators contributed 10 scientific posters, presented the latest findings from Levi’s CATCH, chaired major scientific sessions and joined the world’s foremost experts discussing everything from tumour biology and immunotherapy to novel therapeutics, biomarkers and clinical trials.

This is exactly why Levi’s Project exists ā¬‡ļø

🧠To back the people asking the biggest questions
šŸ’„To accelerate the discoveries that change outcomes
šŸ‘Š To ensure Australia continues to lead on the world stage in the fight against DIPG

We couldn’t be prouder to stand behind Children’s Cancer Institute as they continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible for children diagnosed with DIPG.

$70,000 raised - the boys from Brissy have done it again!

We are bowled over by the success of our Levi’s Project Bowls Day, a super fun day powered by big hearts and a community that always delivers when it counts.

To our friends and supporters who came along, we appreciate you endlessly. The love, generosity and competitive spirit on the green was something special. And to Norman Park Bowls Club for being the host with the most šŸ™

A heartfelt shoutout to the Churchie Old Boys ā€˜99 and their families — some of our staunchest supporters since day one. In particular, Matt Bird, Todd Wild, Luke Horsfall and Brad Shulmam — your passion and commitment to bringing this event to life does not go unnoticed. We are so grateful.

Huge thank you to all the business and friends who donated and sourced raffle prizes - it was a smashing success.
