Thank you to everyone who joined us at Wyong Vertical Village yesterday for our Open Day.

Guests had the opportunity to tour the apartments, see the Vertical Village model in action and connect over lunch with local support coordinators, occupational therapists and allied health professionals.

We also heard from occupational therapist Sarah Kelly, who shared a practical overview of the new SIL compliance requirements and what they mean in a Vertical Village setting.

It was a great opportunity to bring the local disability support community together, answer questions and share more about supported independent living at Wyong.

At Wyong, members have their own self-contained apartment, with their own front door, kitchen and bathroom. Support is shaped around each person’s individual NDIS plan and Roster of Care, with the opportunity to be part of a connected community.

A great couple of days at the Sydney Disability Expo.

Art, fresh air and a little friendly competition!

The Rise Up crew spent today visiting the Resilience & Revival exhibition in Chatswood before heading to Balmoral Beach for park tennis in the winter sunshine.

Days like these are all about trying new experiences, staying active and enjoying the moments that make everyday life so rewarding.
