Our team and residents in RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village were delighted to host a special inter-village morning tea, welcoming their close neighbours from RFBI Moonbi Masonic Village for a wonderful get-together.

The highlight of the morning was a lively performance by the U3A Ukulele Band. Made up of talented, retired members of the local Tamworth community, this University of the Third Age group shares a passion for entertaining and bringing musical joy to others.

The lounge room was buzzing with broad smiles and plenty of toe-tapping as residents from both villages caught up over tea and enjoyed classic tunes together. It was a fantastic morning that truly highlighted the power of community spirit 💛

The festive celebrations continued across our villages last month, with the team in RFBI Concord Community Village hosting a magnificent Christmas in July fine dining experience.

The dining room was transformed with festive decorations, setting the perfect winter scene for a memorable afternoon together 🎄🍽️✨

Our residents sat down to a beautifully curated Christmas menu prepared with traditional favourites, warm and comforting foods and nourishing ingredients. Our fine dining experiences are always a popular highlight at RFBI, with our Catering and Leisure & Lifestyle teams working collaboratively to creative special, immersive experiences which replicate that of a restaurant in their home.

It was a wonderful occasion that brought residents, staff and volunteers together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas right in the middle of winter.

The cold weather didn't stop the team at RFBI Basin View Masonic Village from having fun ❄️📸✨

The team transformed the lounge room into a magical Winter Wonderland! Everyone had a ball picking out fun costumes and posing for special festive photos.

It was such a bright, cheery way to embrace the season together and capture some wonderful new memories for our village album.

Mid-year festive cheer is in full swing over at RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village 🎄🍗🎤

Our residents, families and staff recently gathered for a wonderful Christmas in July concert and luncheon. The afternoon was extra special thanks to a talented guest performer, the wonderful Wendy, who is the daughter of one of our residents.

Wendy has such a beautiful voice and everyone was delighted to hear her sing. Residents, visitors and staff sang and danced along to classic Christmas carols, alongside popular hits from the 60s and 70s.

After all the dancing, everyone sat down together to enjoy a mouth-watering Christmas feast for lunch. What a day it was!

Good food, great music and even better company, what more could you ask for? 🍽️🎶

Our residents over at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Retirement Village recently gathered for a fantastic social luncheon.

The room was buzzing from start to finish as residents caught up with old friends, met new neighbours and shared plenty of laughs.

The highlight of the day was an incredible live performance by the Salt & Pepper Shakers! The band had the entire room singing along to classic tunes, with plenty of residents jumping up to show off their best dance moves.

The feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that the team has already locked in the Salt & Pepper Shakers for next year’s event.

For our village team, seeing everyone come together and make such happy memories is what it is all about 💛

Who says we have to wait until December to unwrap a little holiday magic? 🎄🍗✨

Last month our residents at RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village were treated to a magnificent mid-year celebration filled with music, laughter and incredible food.

The highlight of the day was a mouth-watering baked dinner with all the classic trimmings, topped off with a rich plum pudding for dessert!

The feast brought back so many cherished memories of traditional family gatherings and left everyone with full bellies and broad smiles.

Seeing the joy and connection shared across the tables made it a day to remember. It was a wonderful reminder that festive cheer is welcome in the Village any month of the year!

What an absolutely unforgettable Aged Care Employee Day we had across all of our RFBI communities 🎉🍰

The celebrations were in full swing as we paused to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible workforce. Every single one of our villages rolled out the red carpet to spoil our team members with delicious celebratory cakes, special gift bags and wonderful shared lunches.

The best part of the day was seeing our residents jump right into the festivities alongside our staff! There were plenty of hugs, sweet messages and happy memories shared.

To our nurses, carers, lifestyle teams, chefs, cleaners, maintenance crews and administrative leaders: you are the heart and soul of RFBI. Thank you for your endless dedication, warmth and compassion!

We have some fantastic news to share! We're proud to congratulate Julie Southern, Catering Supervisor at RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village on receiving the Individual Innovation Award at the Ageing Australia You are ACE! Awards 🏆🎉✨

Julie was recognised for her incredible passion, creativity and dedication to finding new, wonderful ways to enrich the lives of our residents every single day.

Her forward-thinking ideas and heart for compassionate care truly set the standard for what makes our community so special.

We could not be more proud to see her hard work celebrated on the national stage.
