FOCUS Connect is looking for passionate Community Volunteer Facilitators to help bring our new Social Support Groups to life across Campbelltown, Fairfield and Liverpool!

Whether you're retired, working part-time, studying, or just have a skill you'd love to share, there's a group looking for someone like you:

💃 Move & Groove — exercise instructors, PTs, dance lovers
🍳 Cook & Taste — chefs, bakers, home cooks
🎨 Arts & Crafts — artists, makers, craft enthusiasts

Every child, every family and every person deserves access to nutritious food.

According to the Foodbank Hunger Report 2025, 1 in 3 households experienced food insecurity in the past 12 months.

Behind this statistic are people in our own community facing difficult choices every day.

At FOCUS Connect, we're committed to ensuring individuals and families can access practical support when they need it most.

Through our Food Relief Program, delivered in partnership with Dignity Australia, we provide free, nutritious frozen meals to people experiencing food insecurity.

Accessing support is simple:

✔ Free frozen meals
✔ No appointments
✔ No paperwork
✔ No referral required
✔ No questions asked

If you or someone you know could benefit from the program, we're here to help.

FOCUS Connect's Social Groups provide older people with the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, make meaningful friendships and stay active in their community.

With a variety of activities, outings, cultural groups and special events on offer, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking to reconnect with old hobbies, try something new or simply enjoy good company, we'd love to welcome you.

Joining is easy! If it's your first time, our friendly team can help you:
✔ Find the group that's right for you
✔ Explain funding options
✔ Arrange transport (where available)
✔ Register your attendance

What does it cost?
• CHSP participants – Client contributions are listed throughout the Social Groups Calendar. Some outings may have additional ticket or meal costs.
• Support at Home participants – Charges apply in accordance with your Support at Home Service Agreement.
• Self-funded or brokered support – Contact our friendly team for current pricing.

Friendship has the power to brighten our days, strengthen our wellbeing and create a sense of belonging. Whether it's sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, enjoying a community outing, or simply knowing someone is there to listen, meaningful connections can make a real difference.

At FOCUS Connect, we see the value of friendship every day through the relationships built across our Social Groups, community programs and support services. Bringing people together, celebrating culture and creating opportunities to connect are at the heart of what we do.

This International Day of Friendship, take a moment to reconnect with an old friend, introduce yourself to someone new or reach out to someone who may appreciate a friendly chat. Small acts of connection can have a lasting impact.
