🏉 TEAM MANAGER INFO — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Team Managers play an important role in helping us have a smooth and successful season. Here’s a quick guide to your key responsibilities 👇
1️⃣ PLAYER REGISTRATION
• Ensure all players are registered.
• Let us know as soon as possible if your team is short on players.
2️⃣ COMMUNICATION
• Keep players and parents updated with important information.
• Encourage everyone to regularly check the website and our social media for updates.
3️⃣ GAME SCHEDULING
• The draw will be released approximately 2 weeks before the competition starts.
• Each week, make sure players and parents know their game time and field number.
4️⃣ GAME DAY ADMIN
• Any score disputes must be addressed at the competition desk.
• Team Managers must sign the referee card at the commencement of the game — particularly important for U6-U11s.
5️⃣ TEAM GEAR 👕
• Ensure players are wearing their team shirt and appropriate footwear.
• Metal studs are NOT permitted.
6️⃣ ADULT SUPERVISION
• At least two adults must be present with the team during games.
• This is particularly important for our U15 teams.
7️⃣ BEHAVIOUR & RESPECT 🤝
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for referee abuse.
• Please reinforce respectful behaviour from players, coaches and spectators.
• No drinking or smoking around the fields.
• Spectators are expected to be courteous, positive and respectful at all times.
8️⃣ SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT 💙
• Help create an environment that is competitive, inclusive and nurturing.
• Encourage players, support their teammates and remember that everyone is here to enjoy their touch football!
📌 A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS
👕 Team shirts & balls will be distributed the week before competition. Further details to come.
🔄 Substitutions: Players must substitute from the sideline.
🚲 E-BIKES: E-bikes are not permitted on the fields at any time.
🐶 DOGS: Please do not bring dogs onto the fields. With potentially hundreds of players, families and spectators around, the fields are simply not a suitable place for dogs, there are too many balls, young children and
