🐾✨ ANIMAL RESCUE CREW SYDNEY (ARCS) TURNS FIVE! ✨🐾
Today we celebrate five incredible years of rescue, rehabilitation, advocacy, and second chances. 💙🧡
What began as a small group of passionate animal lovers has grown into a dedicated community of volunteers, foster carers, adopters, supporters, veterinary partners, and advocates united by one simple belief: every animal deserves to be safe, loved, and given a chance to thrive. 🐶🐱🐰🐦
As a volunteer-run, no-kill rescue charity, ARCS receives no government funding and has no paid staff. Everything we do is made possible by the kindness, generosity, and dedication of people who care deeply about animals and their welfare.
Over the past five years, together we have:
🐾 Rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed hundreds of animals
🐾 Given second chances to pets with complex medical and behavioural needs🐾 Supported animals facing neglect, abandonment, injury, and abuse
🐾 Assisted families through medical crises, housing challenges, domestic violence situations, and other difficult circumstances involving their pets
🐾 Worked alongside incredible vets, shelters, pounds, rescues, businesses, and community groups
🐾 Educated the community about responsible pet ownership, rescue, fostering, and adoption
🐾 Built a compassionate network of fosters, adopters, volunteers, donors, and supporters who make this work possible every single day
Most importantly, we’ve watched countless animals go from scared and uncertain to safe, happy, and loved. ❤️
To every foster carer who opened their home, every adopter who opened their heart, every donor who helped cover a vet bill, every volunteer who gave their time, every rescue partner who stood beside us, and every supporter who liked, shared, donated, fundraised, transported, advocated, or cheered us on, THANK YOU 🙏
You are the reason ARCS exists.
Every life saved, every happy ending, every wagging tail and content purr has been possible because of this incredible community. 🐾
