🚨🐾 URGENT FOSTER CARER NEEDED FOR BACI! 📍SYDNEY 🐾🚨

Sweet Baci urgently needs a calm, experienced foster home, or foster-to-adopt home where she can finally decompress and feel safe. 🥺❤️‍🩹

Baci has recently been surrendered and has experienced several big changes in a very short period of time. Understandably, she’s feeling stressed and overwhelmed. What she needs now is stability, patience, space and the right environment to help her settle. 🏡💕

Despite everything, Baci is a beautiful, sweet girl who actively seeks human connection. She just needs time to build trust and learn that she’s safe. 🥹🐶

🐾 ABOUT BACI:
🖤 Border Collie
🎂 Approx 2–3 years old
⚖️ Approx 10kg
📍 Currently in Willoughby, Sydney
💕 Sweet & seeking connection
🌿 Needs time and space to decompress

🏡 HER FOSTER HOME NEEDS:
🐕 A calm, confident, friendly but neutral resident dog
🏠 A quiet, patient household
🔐 A very secure, high-fenced yard
👤 Someone home often, Baci hasn’t yet been left alone for longer than an hour
🚫 No cats or pocket pets at this stage
💗 An experienced carer willing to give her the time she needs to settle

Ideally, her foster home will be near one of the rescue’s support hubs: Upper North Shore, Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West or Eastern Suburbs.

Baci needs someone willing to give her the chance to breathe, decompress and realise she’s finally safe. ❤️‍🩹🐾

🌸🐾 HELP LEAH - URGENT FOSTER CARER NEEDED 🐾🌸

Sweet little Leah has already overcome so much, and now she urgently needs a loving foster home in Sydney ASAP 💗

Leah was found months ago in heartbreaking condition, severely underweight, hypothermic, dehydrated and struggling to breathe with serious pneumonia. She needed hospitalisation and critical care, but this brave girl fought her way back and made an amazing recovery. 🥹✨

😻 Leah is a happy, cheeky, playful little sweetheart who has been enjoying the comfort of foster care and absolutely deserves to keep thriving.

She is:
🐱 Fully vetted
🏡 House and litter trained
💞 Sweet, playful and affectionate
🌿 Looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom

Her current foster situation is changing, so Leah now needs a new foster carer very urgently. A quiet home with patient, caring people would be ideal.

Happy International Cat Day! 🐱🌎🧡

Today we’re celebrating the cats we love, the cats we’ve rescued, and all the beautiful kitties still waiting for their happily ever after. 🥹🐾💕

At Animal Rescue Crew Sydney (ARCS) charity, we know just how special cats are. From the tiniest kittens to our senior sweethearts, the shy ones learning to trust, the cheeky troublemakers, the cuddle bugs and the independent little personalities! 😍🙌 Every single cat deserves to feel safe, loved and cherished. 🏡💗

Rescue changes lives. ✨ For a cat who has experienced abandonment, homelessness or uncertainty, a foster home can mean warmth and safety, and adoption can mean finally having a family to call their own. 🥰

Mollie is the kind of little girl who quietly melts into your arms and wants to be close to her people 🥹❤️

She’s currently staying in foster care a little longer for some extra one-on-one time to help build her confidence while her siblings head off to their new homes. 🏡✨

How gorgeous is this little guy?! 😍 Spain is a sweet 4-year-old, approx. 6kg Pomeranian/Spitz-type mix currently in foster care in Sydney and searching for his forever person. 🏡✨

Spain is basically a ready-made companion. 🥹 He loves being wherever his person is! He loves curled up beside you, relaxing on the couch or resting his head on your lap. 💕🐶

He is affectionate, settled and happiest with plenty of human company, so he would especially suit someone who is home often and looking for a devoted little best friend. 🫶

🐶 4 years old

🦮 Loves his walks

Spain can bark at unfamiliar dogs while on lead and can sometimes be a little bossy with other dogs, but off lead he is friendly, social and happy to meet others. 🐾

Another dog isn’t essential, although canine company may suit him if his humans are away regularly.

Spain originally came from a shelter in Western Sydney and found shelter life very stressful. He is much happier enjoying the comfort and security of a home. 🥺❤️

Rumi is an adorable 8-month-old Pug x French Bulldog who would be best suited to a home where someone is around more often than not. As a young girl, she needs companionship, guidance and a caring environment where she can feel safe and secure.

⚠️ BIRD FLU IN AUSTRALIA: HELP KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE 🐦🐱🐶

Highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu, has now been detected in wild seabirds in Australia, including confirmed detections in NSW.

Although bird flu primarily affects birds, infected wildlife can sometimes transmit the virus to mammals. Cats may become seriously unwell after hunting, catching or eating infected birds, so it is important to take a few simple precautions.

🐱 For cats
Keep cats safely indoors or within a secure enclosed area. Do not allow them to hunt, catch, play with or eat wild birds, particularly around beaches, wetlands and coastal areas.

🐶 For dogs
Keep dogs close or on a lead around beaches, lakes and wetlands. Do not allow them to approach wild birds, carcasses or bird droppings.

🦜 For pet birds, chickens and ducks
Prevent contact with wild birds and protect food and water from contamination. Where possible, keep birds under a secure, covered enclosure and monitor closely for unusual illness.

🚫 Never touch a sick or dead wild bird.
Keep children and pets away, take note of the location and report it to the 24-hour Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

The current risk to pets that are kept away from wild birds remains low, so there is no need to panic, just stay informed, cautious and vigilant. 💚

Beautiful Nyx is still searching for a patient and loving foster carer who can give her the time, stability and kindness she needs to settle into home life. 🥺💙

At just 2 years old, this gorgeous Staffy mix has so much love to give. Nyx can be a little shy and cautious when first meeting new people, but once she begins to feel safe, her affectionate and gentle personality shines through. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she has someone nearby to reassure her.

Nyx needs a calm foster home where she can decompress at her own pace, build her confidence and experience the comfort of being part of a family while she waits for her forever home. 🏡🐾

A little more about Nyx:

❤️ 2-year-old female Staffy mix
🏡 House trained
🐕 Walks beautifully on lead
🤍 Affectionate, gentle and people-oriented once settled
🌳 Requires secure fencing of at least 1.8 metres
