COULD YOU HELP LOVEABLE LOKI ?

This loveable, active/playful /boy is desperately in need of a loving new home (due to illness causing a change of circumstance with his current owner)

Loki enjoys beach walks/water play, 🌊playing fetch, 🥎 is sociable with other dogs of similar size and absolutely loves his humans. 🥰

Unfortunately he is in danger of being surrendered to the pound if we are unable to find someone to care for him within the next few days which is heart breaking for him to say the least.
Loki was abandoned as a pup, with the help of Rescue Hub he was adopted into what was thought to be his forever home but sadly, he is facing being left alone once again 🥲

Loki needs a family where someone would be home most of the time, or another dog to keep him company. Cuddles are his thing, the more the merrier, he is good around children, loves to be inside with the family, and will let you know when it’s toilet time. Storms and fireworks don’t faze him.
He currently sleeps inside and is crate trained.

‼️THIS SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN‼️

🙏 GORGEOUS RUBI NEEDS A SAVIOUR 🙏

Rubi was recently found tied to a tree with a note stating her name, and a bag of kibble 😮 Although she would have been super confused, she greeted her finders with much tail wagging and a huge smile. We are unsure whether she had spent the night in the bush or had been abandoned earlier that morning 😢

We do know that Rubi had been well cared for prior to this incident and that her owners had rehomed her a day or so earlier without doing ANY safety checks at all ☹️ We hope that Rubi’s story will enlighten people to how very dangerous this is to do to a loving pet, no matter the situation people may find themselves in, there is always assistance and guidance available from shelters, rescues or council.

Rescue Hub could not turn their back on Rubi. We have taken this beautiful innocent girl into care, but we are desperate for a foster carer or adoption for her. We are literally packed to the rafters with no kennel available for her. Lucky her finders offered to care for her until Friday 3rd of October ‼️ This places Rescue Hub volunteers under extreme pressure with finding somewhere safe for this gorgeous girl to go 😩

❤️ WHAT WE HAVE OBSERVED OF RUBI ❤️

- She is dog friendly with dogs of similar size to herself.
- Untested with cats or small dogs.
- Rubi has been great with two male staffy’s that have been sharing their home with her, they have not been left together unsupervised, have been fed seperate to her and had seperate rooms to sleep in.
- Rubi loves to rumble with the other dogs and has shown that she is responsive to correction from the other dogs and also to the carer, should play become a little too rough.
- Rubi is a strong dog, weighing 29kg , she walks well on lead. Being the super social butterfly, she eagerly wishes to greet other dogs and humans passing by, so she will pull in their direction and need your correction.
- Rubi travels well in the car, and her carer had no problem giving her a bath.
- She is super affectionate, sloppy kisses are freely handed out and she loves to potter around behind you.

🏡 Rubi would suit most any family dynamic, she is very good with children. She would also make a loyal companion for a couple, or a single person wanting a BFF 🥰

Given the traumatic circumstance that Rubi has been subjected to, she shows to be a well adjusted, fun loving dog that would be a perfect pet to share your home with 🩷

Meet Buddy, a lovable and playful pup eagerly searching for a new family to call his own. At 29 kg, he is a bundle of joy and energy, a charming canine companion. Whether you're a family with children over seven years old, a couple, or a single person looking for a loyal friend, Buddy is sure to bring endless love and laughter into your life. His ideal home would have someone around more often to share his delightful company and active lifestyle.

Buddy loves a good game of fetch, and while he's usually diligent about returning the ball, expect a dash of cheekiness as he occasionally turns it into a playful chase. He's also a fan of car rides, especially on rainy days when they replace his regular walks.

Buddy thrives on regular on-leash walks, clocking in at 30 to 45 minutes at least three times a week, where he walks nicely by your side. This sociable pup has lived peacefully with cats and is known to play nicely with familiar pooches, making him an excellent candidate for homes that already have furry friends, though he hasn't yet experienced the excitement of off-leash dog parks.

With a heart full of affection, Buddy loves nothing more than cozying up on the couch or resting at your feet while you enjoy some TV time. His well-adjusted nature is evident in his calm demeanor around thunderstorms and fireworks, making him a stable presence in your home. He’s also a pro at command-following, already mastering "come here," "sit," "lay down," and "shake paw."

Bath time is a breeze at the DIY dog wash and blow dry station, and regular vet visits are stress-free for this confident pup. As Buddy continues to mature, he'll undoubtedly become an even more delightful companion, enriching the lives of those lucky enough to have him. 💙 ❌ Zeus is in need of a NEW home ❌ 💙

We have been asked to urgently assist with finding adorable Zeus a new home as despite all attempts to make this work, he is not getting along with another male dog in the home ☹️

Zeus is a gorgeous, clever and affectionate boy 🥰 He is very happy to lie at your feet whilst you work from home or follow you around in the garden. He also does well when left alone if you go to work, and will just find a chair to lay on to soak up the sun 🌞 He enjoys swimming in the summer, enjoys walks and is used to a halty harness.

He can be reactive to other dogs, and whilst he has had extensive training is not getting along with another male dog in the home making this difficult to manage. He can however sit, come when called, shake, heal, and walk well on a loose lead 👏 He has not lived with children.

He can be fearful of some loud noises and when anxious may chew his tail or dig 🥺 Continued effort to work on his anxiety will be needed.

Zeus will need a home with a dedicated family that are committed to his ongoing training, who can provide a loving, calm, safe and secure environment for him to be the best dog he can be ❤️

🧸💙Teddy still needs a new home 💙🧸

Teddy is one of our assisted adoption dogs which means he is still living with his current owner whilst we find him a new home. Teddy’s owner has become physically unwell and is unable to care for him the way she would like to 🥺

Just look at this gorgeous boy 🥰 just like his name, Teddy is just like a big teddy bear! You can hug him, play with him, sleep with him and take him everywhere with you!

He’s a gorgeous boy with a huge heart ❤️
He’s an affectionate puppy who brings joy wherever he goes. Teddy loves nothing more than heading out for a walk or a play in the yard, and he’s the first to snuggle up on the lounge for some well-earned cuddles at night 🤗

Teddy is house-trained and enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor time. He’s great on the lead and absolutely adores meeting new people, his tail never stops wagging! 🐕 He’s especially good with teenagers, but due to his strength and enthusiasm, he may be a bit too much for younger children 🧒

Teddy shows a playful interest in other dogs, but he can sometimes come across as a bit too intense. He is still a puppy so with the right guidance and training, he could learn to have healthy social interactions with other dogs but for now he will need to be an only dog in the home 🐶

Teddy loves the company of his humans so he would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not or where he has engaging toys and enrichment to keep him entertained 🦴🏀🪢

Teddy hasn't had formal obedience training, but he knows how to sit and shake hands like a true gentleman 🤝

Meet Buddy!
This 29kg bundle of energy is affectionate, ball-obsessed, and absolutely adores car rides. Buddy is toilet trained, walks well on a lead, and lives both indoors and outdoors. He’s great with other dogs, lives peacefully with cats, and thrives in an active home. While he can be cautious with new people at first, he warms up quickly and forms strong bonds. As a playful pup, he’s still learning his size, so a home with older children would be ideal.

Buddy knows basic commands like sit, lie down, shake, and “come here,” and would benefit from ongoing training and attention. He’d love a home with another pet or someone around often to keep him company and help channel his playful energy. Buddy sleeps happily in the bedroom and is ready to be someone’s loyal companion.

Meet Bowie 🐾
Bowie is a bright, affectionate, and food-motivated dog with a zest for life and a head full of tricks. He’s done scent training, knows a wide range of commands (like “stay,” “drop,” “come,” “heel,” “go crate,” and more), and thrives on mental stimulation. He especially enjoys games like “find my shoe” or food search puzzles. If you’ve got a Kong filled with peanut butter, you’ll win his heart instantly!

He travels well in the car, walks nicely on a lead, and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night. Bowie is a wonderful companion for someone experienced and patient who’s home often and can continue the training foundation he’s received through K9 Pro in Londonderry.

Bowie is looking for a cat-free, calm household with no other pets and possibly older children. With the right match, Bowie promises to be a loyal, entertaining, and endlessly loving best friend. 😢How has this precious girl NOT found a home😢

Luna is one of our Assisted Adoption dogs 🐶
This means that she is still living with her current owners while we help search for her a new suitable home safely.

Luna did have a possible new home but this has sadly fallen through ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Luna is a super sweet gorgeous girl 🩷 Just look at that huge smile! 😊 She loves the outdoors, whether it’s a walk, playing with a ball 🥎 playing tug of war or having a swim in the pool 💦

She is super cute and can be shy at first, but once she is comfortable and warms up to you, she absolutely adores spending time with her humans 🥰

Luna can be left alone while you head to work for the day as long as her new family are committed to creating a regular routine where she receives exercise and mental stimulation.

Luna has not had much socialisation with other dogs. She is currently living with another dog, however they are mostly kept in seperate spaces as Luna can very excitable and boisterous at times.

Koda is a pocket-sized powerhouse of loyalty and love. He thrives on walks, sunbathing in the yard, and curling up in his bed at the end of the day. He’s the perfect mix of energy and couch potato, and while he may be shy around strangers, once he trusts you—he’s yours for life.

Due to a recent change in living circumstances (including a newborn in the home), Koda is sadly no longer in an ideal environment and is currently living mostly outside. His family has made the difficult decision to rehome him so he can thrive in a more suitable setting.

🧠 What Koda Needs:
Koda will do best in a calm, adult-only home with people who understand that building trust takes time. He has been around other dogs in controlled settings and has responded well with supervision, but isn’t suited to homes with cats.

He is house-trained, walks nicely on lead, and responds well to structure and guidance thanks to early obedience training. While he does experience some separation anxiety, a patient and consistent routine will help him feel secure.

Bowie is a truly beautiful and affectionate boy 💙 At 5 years old, he’s perfectly happy with a daily walk followed by a cozy nap or simply tagging along with you, eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. He thrives on human connection and is incredibly loving and gentle 🤗 Bowie is also wonderful with children! While he needs to be the only dog in the home, he may be able to live with older, calm cats 🐈‍⬛
