A solemn ceremony was held at the Anzac Jawan Cenotaph (NSW War Memorial) in Cherrybrook beneath clear autumn skies, paying tribute to soldiers of Indian origin who served with the ANZACs in World War I. Hosted by the Australia India Cenotaph Committee under the auspices of the Hindu Council of Australia, this event brought together a diverse group of veterans, Federal, State and local government officials, students, and community members to commemorate an important yet often overlooked aspect of their shared history.
