Touching down in Sydney and concluding an epic 72 hours in Kiribati, Micronesia. 🛬🏝️🇰🇮🙌🏽❤️

It was a busy few days with plenty of meetings with Govt representatives and very clever people doing amazing things! I’ve learnt so much and am blown away! 🤩😮🥰❤️🙌🏽👌🏽

The adaptations, resilience and strength of the i-Kiribati nation through climate change and other challenges is so inspiring, and one our Hearts Above The Sea (HATS) team look forward to sharing about with Australian schools and corporates soon. 🙌🏽❤️🥰👍🏽

The HATS team hope to return to Kiribati next year with another Virtual Cultural Exchange program for school age students. We hope it will be even bigger and better than last time. 🙌🏽🥳👏🏽👯‍♂️❤️

👋🏼 Hearts Above The Sea (HATS) is an Australian registered charity with the aim of delivering educational projects and solutions to the low lying nations in the South Pacific who are affected by global climate change, starting with Kiribati.

Our goals are to create solutions, raise awareness, provide education, and preserve culture.

We proud to say that the Hearts Above The Sea work is aligned to UN SDG 4: Inclusive and equitable quality education for all; and UN SDG 13: Climate Action.

We have some big news to share! After months of hard work, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Hearts Above The Sea (HATS) website.

Our website aims to provide a more in-depth look at who we are, our goals, and the work we are doing to support low lying nations in the South Pacific affected by climate change. We are also excited to highlight our Virtual Cultural Exchange Program, which offers education to school children on South Pacific culture and the real-world impacts of climate change.
