Tribute to the ANZACS. On the 11th of April, @ Dee Why Beach Car Park, we were blessed with a fine sunny autumn day. We did a tribute to the ANZACs. Don gave us an electric presentation on his father in the Air Force. To finish off we had a BBQ and debrief with the fellas.

Today we celebrate the positive contributions of men all across the world. At Speak Up Mate part of our mission is to build the communication and health literacy of men in Australia. Our primary focus at community meetings is to build camaraderie, provide evidence-based health education, testimonies, and empower men to support others in their social circles.

Dear community,

Every year, Charities and not for profit (NFP) organisations get together to celebrate success, network and represent the communities in which we support at Dee-why RSL. Our Local club in the Northern Beaches, they remain a great support and advocate for supporting small businesses. They help NFP and showcase our work with the vision to empower , support and drive innovation into community by supporting each other in our charitable work in the mental health space.

Representing speak up mate is a special honor and this year once again ,Tyson Godden who is now a facilitator and myself as one of the directors represented our organisation for a special night of collaboration and empowering communities.

We will be seeking to continue our initial conversations with small organisations that we had really engaging and meaningful organisations with. We are excited in developing collaborations together.

Fo us at Speak Up Mate, community is about support and we aim to deliver our commitment to the cause of supporting men’s mental health together.
