What a wonderful week it has been following the incredible 15K+ milestone by our teams. We can't wait to share this great news with you. An awesome group of people around the world have got together to form The Awesome Foundation, with each Chapter containing a generous group of local people who keep sharing good in the universe, $1000 at at a time. Woo Hoo! We are celebrating as Awesome Foundation Sydney has kindly chosen us for the month of April. We have been awarded $1000 towards replacing our deck chairs in one of our pop up Safe Bases. These deck chairs have been problematic for us as the quality has dropped with chairs being made offshore and we have literally been churning chairs. This grant will enable us to move to aluminium chairs instead of timber and we are hoping these will give us the much needed service life that used to be the case. Outreach programs like ours, just don't have budget for chair churn. Thanks so much Awesome Foundation Sydney. To say that this has come at a good time is an understatement.
