What a blessed evening we had at our 2026 Jesus Cares Dinner!
This year was one of our smallest events in terms of attendance, yet it was one of the most special and intimate evenings we have had. It was a wonderful reminder that God is not limited by numbers. Despite having fewer guests than in previous years, the Lord provided abundantly, and we are so grateful for His faithfulness.
One of the highlights of the evening was having two tables of our street friends join us as special guests. They were truly the guests of honour for the night.
Another special blessing was the involvement of 17 students from Covenant Christian School who served throughout the evening. One of the visions of Jesus Cares is to see more young people involved in serving others and sharing the love of Christ. It was wonderful to watch these students serve with such enthusiasm, kindness, and humility.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Covenant Christian School for their incredible partnership with Jesus Cares. Thank you for allowing us to use your facilities, for encouraging students to get involved, and for standing alongside us in this ministry. We are truly grateful.
Throughout the evening, we shared stories from our different outreach chapters and celebrated the many ways God has been at work through Jesus Cares Ministry. Whether in the city, the Northern Beaches, or Blacktown, we continue to see lives touched by the love of Jesus. All glory belongs to Him.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised enough funds to sustain the ministry for the next few months. This is a tremendous blessing and an answer to prayer.
As we continue serving those in need, we ask that you keep Jesus Cares Ministry in your prayers. If you would like to financially support the ministry, donations are always appreciated and tax-deductible receipts are available for all eligible donations.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended the dinner, volunteered, donated, prayed, and supported us in so many ways. We are deeply grateful for every person who walks alongside us in this ministry. Together, we are sharing the hope and love of Jesus with those who are in great need.
