Thanks to Nature NSW for helping me to spread the message that Riverstone Wetlands MUST be saved. Bit of a 'bad hair day' (I knew I should've kept my hat on)

The Lockeys Pylon track was closed on Thursday, possibly due to the wet weather. A walk at the Kings Tableland provided the opportunity to photograph 3 Honeyeater spp. & 2 'special' parrots

Despite a damp/overcast start, it was a pleasure to lead the CBOC outing to Murphys Glen on Wednesday. Fun historical fact, Murphys Glen was the first CBOC outing lead by Warren Sweeney in 1979. A nice sociable group, some magical mushrooms and the opportunity to note the differences between the Red-browed and White-throated Treecreepers all made for a lovely morning.
