Monday 6th April, 7:30 & 9.00am starts. Cumberland Land Conservancy bird survey and 'Easter Extravaganza' event. Come along and join our regular expert team as we explore and record the wildlife at CLCs flagship conservation property 'Wallaroo' in Mulgoa. Later we'll tally the results (50spp. expected) and they'll be a presentation on the 10yr history of CLC and our work on 'Wallaroo'.

The Lockeys Pylon track was closed on Thursday, possibly due to the wet weather. A walk at the Kings Tableland provided the opportunity to photograph 3 Honeyeater spp. & 2 'special' parrots

Despite a damp/overcast start, it was a pleasure to lead the CBOC outing to Murphys Glen on Wednesday. Fun historical fact, Murphys Glen was the first CBOC outing lead by Warren Sweeney in 1979. A nice sociable group, some magical mushrooms and the opportunity to note the differences between the Red-browed and White-throated Treecreepers all made for a lovely morning.

Some nice seasonal changes observed at 'Womat' last month
