Our work with Rice Fund never stops. We recently welcome the Chinese seniors group from Advance Diversity to Chinatown for a day of yum cha, shopping and connection.

It’s with a heavy heart that we post this when the future of Emperor's Garden Restaurant & Bakery remains in doubt - thank you for all the support for Rice Fund over the years.

Thank you to THAI KEE IGA for facilitating these seniors and for the generous goodie bags. Thank you to Market City for the generous vouchers to help these seniors pick up some much needed goods.

Our Rice Fund is 100% driven by our volunteers and donors - thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💞

We met Vane from Whiskers a few years ago and love his gelato and sorbet. He is a student of his craft and there’s no gelato place like this in Sydney with Chinese tea flavours, as well as other Chinese, Asian and European flavors like tiramisu (made with ONA Coffee Sydney coffee beans).

Whiskers is super proud of winning the gold medal at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for his Belgian Chocolate, as well as silver and bronze for other flavours.

In just two years Vane has created more than 60 unique flavors and he’ll prob reach 100 this year! Definitely our fav gelato spot in Sydney - we’re so lucky to have them in Chinatown :)

Chinatown Mahjong Club welcomes players of all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or expert. Trainers and printed resources will be available to teach Hong Kong-style mahjong for those who are keen to learn.
