Stray’s Haven Foundation

Stray’s Haven Foundation Australian based charity organisation to raise awareness about stray animals' conditions in Nepal.

We, a bunch of avid animal lovers hailing from Nepal, have always been passionate about helping animals in need. Whether it be by volunteering, making donations or sharing stories, we have made individual efforts to raise awareness about stray's roaming in the streets of Nepal. Growing up on different parts and streets of Nepal, we have seen how stray animals are treated - while some people are ki

nd and offer food and medications to these animals, others are not so merciful. We have seen strays being beaten up for just merely being themselves. With no families to turn to and no stable source to meet their basic needs, the strays are often seen begging to live their lives and trust us, it is not a great scene at all! The strays of Nepal have found hope now that several animal welfare agencies are working for their rights. It makes our heart smile and be at ease to see them caring for the strays who have no voice of their own. We continue to make our individual efforts, however, lending individual effort is not always enough given the scope of work that needs to be done and the number of helping hands that are required. To raise awareness about the wandering strays in Nepal and to generate donations to assist animal welfare agencies in Nepal, we have come together and established Strays Haven Foundation. Stray's Haven Foundation is a charity organisation that aims to educate people worldwide and raise awareness about stray animals' conditions in Nepal. We have formed partnerships with Animal Rescue/Welfare organisations in Nepal and we will channel funds raised by donations to these institutions to provide food, shelter and medications to stray animals, and eventually get them adopted into loving forever families.

This month is all dedicated to animals as we celebrate and worship them in Nepal.

Recently we organised a feeding campaign for 200 abandoned cows and calves in street of Mahendranagar with essential nutrition and vitamins. Thank you to team I Care You for your support.

Tragically, many of these young calves who should be with their mothers are left to roam the streets with no access to food , water or any medical help.

We often see them foraging through garbage and ending up with consuming harmful plastics instead. It's tragic that so many of them are left to fend for themselves, often resorting to scavenging for food in dangerous places leading to accidents.

This tihar, let's ignite our inner light with love and compassion for these vulnerable beings💥💛

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors and members for their continued support 🙏

Stray’s Haven: Another Successful Rescue, Thanks to Mr. Bishnu Paneru

This is the heartwarming story of a young calf, saved from a life-threatening injury. The poor calf was struck by a car and left on the street, crying in pain, with no one to come to its aid. Suffering from a fractured leg and in a severely weakened state, it was unable to stand for days.

When we learned of the calf’s condition, we quickly built a temporary shelter and began treatment. Thanks to regular medical care, nutritious food, and constant attention, the calf has now made a full recovery.

Unfortunately, cases of animals injured in road accidents are becoming all too common. These beautiful souls often suffer due to our negligence. Let this serve as a reminder for all of us to drive not only with caution but also with compassion.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors for their continued support in making rescues like this possible:
