Rapid Relief Team AU RRT delivers hope and relief to people across the globe. Whether it be fire, flood or humanitarian need.

Plymouth Brethren members are genuine in their endeavours to be caring, active and contributing citizens in the countries where they live. As an integral part of their Christian faith, Brethren members have engaged with the wider community from their earliest days and have developed a tradition of helping others which continues to this day under the banner of the Rapid Relief Team. The Rapid Relief Team is made up of dedicated members of the Plymouth Brethren community who operate in the towns and cities where they have their congregations on a voluntary basis. Efforts are focused around the supply of refreshments to Emergency services and local community in times of crisis or need.

Warragul volunteers recently supported a staff safety and wellbeing BBQ at Warragul Hospital, serving 440 meals as part of a thank you lunch for hospital staff.

The event recognised National Safe Work Month and provided an opportunity to promote workplace safety, wellbeing and mental health, while thanking staff for their ongoing support of the community.

Thanks to the Warragul volunteers for helping make the day a special one for hospital staff.

Gympie volunteers served 40 meals at a Get Ready Storm event, helping locals come together and learn more about preparing for emergencies. The event, run by the Gympie Regional Council, brought together local emergency services to share information about available support and what to do in the event of an emergency. Katoomba volunteers were on hand to support the Run the Open event, organised by Purcell Property to raise funds for Cancer Wellness Support. RRT provided hydration for runners across six locations, along with a sausage sizzle at the finish line at Lomatia Park. A great effort from everyone involved in the marathon from Katoomba to Springwood, with 45 meals served by our volunteers. Thanks to Purcell Property for putting on this awesome event and for all who got involved.
