Plymouth Brethren members are genuine in their endeavours to be caring, active and contributing citizens in the countries where they live. The Rapid Relie

RRT Perth and Kalamunda volunteers served meals across the Perth Wildcats All Abilities Carnival, helping fuel students for a day of basketball, fun and connection. Now in its fourth year, the carnival gives primary and secondary students with disabilities the chance to get involved in sport, represent their schools and enjoy a great day on the court.

Next week, RRT will be there across eight locations as riders take on the eight-day journey through Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, raising funds and awareness for Special Operations veterans and their families through Wandering Warriors. We’re looking forward to being part of Pollie Pedal for another year and helping keep riders fuelled along the way.

Behind every kilometre of Pollie Pedal is a network of organisations helping make the journey possible.

Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rapid Relief Team AU and Coal Australia for supporting Pollie Pedal 2026 and Wandering Warriors.

Together, we’re helping raise awareness and funds to support Australia’s Special Operations veterans and their families as they build their lives beyond service.

The intensive efforts continue. Our thoughts are with the family, friends and community during this time.

Working with people in crisis is at the heart of what we do and we are so blessed to be able to collaborate with Rapid Relief Team AU who also have this same heart.

Rapid Relief Team launched an innovative initiative in 2019, RRT Food Boxes, to provide immediate relief when it is needed most. After wanting to do more for families and individuals affected by domestic violence, RRT designed the Food Box which provides emergency food supplies to people and families in need.

The RRT Food Box, which contains a variety of non-perishable, long-life food, has grown to support people affected by COVID-19, people from low socio-economic backgrounds, and those in crisis. One Food Box can last a family of four for up to 48 hours, giving them time and space to find sustainable, ongoing support.

A sincere thank you to Rapid Relief Team for supporting the 2026 Armidale Vinnies Community Sleepout.

Your support will help raise funds for the Start Fresh Community Connections Program, through Freeman House in Armidale.

Sponsorship makes a real difference. It helps ensure the Sleepout can raise more funds for practical, local support for people experiencing hardship, homelessness, substance-related harm and dependency.

Thank you, Rapid Relief Team, for standing with Vinnies and the Armidale community.

You can also support the event by donating or backing a participant here:

When the scenario is real, the preparation matters. At the Gold Coast Rural Fire Brigade Group Exercise in Carrara, emergency services teams from the RFS, Queensland Fire Department, Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Queensland Police Service came together for a full-day training exercise, working through an emergency scenario just as they would in the real world. While the teams focused on the training, RRT volunteers kept everyone fuelled with 350 breakfasts and lunches and 200 coffees throughout the day. A big day of training, teamwork and plenty of coffee!
