Did you know that before photography, painting was the main way to capture people's appearance and character? The Museum of Freemasonry has an incredible collection of paintings from the 1720s onwards, showcasing the lives and stories of important figures in Freemasonry.

Many of these are hidden gems, tucked away in meeting rooms around Freemasons' Hall. Thanks to Art UK, a charity that photographs public art collections, you can now explore all our oil paintings online.

From tracing boards that explain Freemasonry ceremonies, to idyllic scenes of cricket matches, and even a merchant ship flying a square and compasses flag, our collection has something for everyone!

Thanks to all our lodges and districts for keeping the holiday spirit alive this season through opportunities for fellowship, charitable giving and more. What was your favorite holiday moment?

Mount Lebanon Lodge No. 226 and Lebanon Chapter No. 115, Order of the Eastern Star dinner; Lehigh Lodge No. 326 breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus; the 20th District and Valley of Altoona, AASR check presentation - about $1,000 towards the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home's veterans closet project providing clothes to vets in need. Last Saturday, Queen Bertha Lodge the Masons of Widows Sons No. 869 exemplified a great community spirit by attending three individual lodge events. The day began at Menifee Valley No. 289 with their Installation of Officers, followed by the Officer Installation at Southwest Lodge No. 283, and wrapped up with the festive Christmas Camp-In with Kapayapaan at Pagkakaisa No. 888.

A heartfelt congratulations to all the newly installed officers, and here's to building stronger bonds and spreading holiday cheer!

NATO is putting together a team of youth advisors, with the aim of expanding opportunities for the young generations to contribute to NATO’s public diplomacy activities and improve NATO’s effectiveness in engaging with youth audiences in a challenging and contested information environment.

As reflected in NATO’s public opinion research, younger generations across the Alliance are less familiar with NATO’s role and mission, making youth perspectives essential for raising awareness and ensuring NATO stays connected to the priorities and concerns of new generations.

The programme is part of the NATO Public Diplomacy Division’s objective to create long-term mechanisms that enable a continuous and adaptive two-way communication channel between NATO and the young generations. It seeks to harness input from a diverse range of youth perspectives from across NATO member and partner countries, not just those focused on political science and international relations.

As part of this programme, NATO will select 10 outstanding young leaders to join the NATO Youth Advisory Board for a 12 month term. Members of the Board will play a vital role in three key areas:
