One Meal - Sutherland Shire We now have three services across the shire in Cronulla, Miranda and Sutherland.

One Meal – It Makes a Difference is a not-for-profit, community organisation that helps to feed, clothe and support the homeless, disenfranchised, vulnerable and at-risk members of our local communities. One Meal - Sutherland Shire, was founded in July 2016 after realising a lack of adult male homelessness support and a high number of homeless people in the Sutherland Shire in general. We run entirely thanks to local volunteers and supporters (sponsors, donors, partners, etc.) who are dedicated to providing food, cooking meals and/or delivering services to help people in need within their local community. Cronulla Service – Thursday 15th October ❤️

It was a wet and rainy night in Cronulla, but that didn’t stop our wonderful team from bringing plenty of warmth, kindness and smiles to our Thursday service!

Our patrons were welcomed by the friendly ladies from Our Lady of Fatima Primary School, who helped serve up a delicious dinner. Everyone could start the evening with their choice of a hot or cold drink before enjoying a tasty beef stir-fry with rice from Highfield Caringbah. 🍲

Dessert was a real treat, with goodies generously supplied by our volunteers. There was a delicious donut, homemade brownie and cookie to choose from — the perfect way to finish the meal! 🍩🍪

Despite the miserable weather, everyone headed home with a bag full of goodies, including fresh fruit from Cronulla Gourmet Grocer, breakfast packs from Kareela Public School, toiletry packs and some leftover food to enjoy later.

A huge thank you to the lovely ladies from Our Lady of Fatima Primary School, out sponsors, our generous volunteers and everyone who continues to support our Cronulla service. Your kindness makes such a difference, especially on nights like these.

Tonight’s One Meal Engadine service 14/10/26 serving an excellent meal to the needy.
A special thanks goes to
Engadine Community Services for the use of their rooms.
Club Engadine RSL (The Cottage Kitchen) restaurant for providing chicken schnitzel chips & gravy.
St John Bosco College Engadine for the breakfast packs.
Bakers Delight for the fresh bread rolls and slice breads.

Thank you to the volunteers for providing salad, garlic bread, fruit, Bavarian cheese cake and pavlova, choccie bickies and poppers.
Our dinner guests enjoyed the meal provided and thanked the One Meal team.

Another smorgasbord from Giovenco Catering was enjoyed by the patrons at the Caringbah Baptist Church One Meal dinner last night. Pork, chicken, veggetable lasagne, veggies and potatoes filled everyone's bellies. If that wasn't enough the cakes for desert looked delicious. Thanks to all the volunteers from Team 2 and of course Brad and the gang at Giovenco.

Sutherland Service: Sun, October 11th
On a hot and sweaty Sunday afternoon in Sutherland our patrons were treated to a beautiful meal of chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce with rice and salad from The Prince Hotel which was supplemented by a fried rice dish from our volunteers. For dessert the patrons had an amazing choice of a blueberry coconut cake or an apple crumble with ice cream with many lucky to get a serving of both!! Everyone also went home with a breakfast pack, fruit and large bags of bread. Needless to say there were many full bellies and happy faces!! A huge thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers for making this all possible 🙏❤️

Engadine One Meal’s service last night was just lovely, with plenty of yummy food to enjoy. Thank you Engadine Community Services for the room, we were all glad to be out of the cold wind!

For dinner there were plenty of delicious pizzas and garlic bread supplied by Pizza League. pizza, pasta, ribs. 9548 5000 - THANK YOU! - and our team members brought in quiches & salad to go with them. We also brought in dessert: apple crumble, fruit salad and custard and fresh fruit.

A big thank you also goes to St John Bosco College Engadine for the breakfast packs and Bakers Delight for an assortment of bread and bread rolls.

Another amazing spread of food for last nights Caringbah Baptist Church OneMeal dinner service with flat breads from Highfield Caringbah, pasta (not just any pasta, trottole with mushroom and thyme cream) and spring green salad with fetta with so much thanks to Le Saucier, and desert from the volunteers. Cronulla Service – Thursday 1st October ❤️

Another fantastic night at our Cronulla service, with plenty of delicious food and wonderful community spirit!

Tonight our patrons enjoyed a tasty meal of chicken, rice and fresh salad, generously provided by Highfield Caringbah, along with some delicious pizzas from Antonio’s Pizzeria. There was also a choice of desserts, including a homemade slice lovingly made by one of our volunteers, as well as other yummy treats from Groundbake Bakery Cronulla. 🍕🍰

Everyone went home with a full bag of goodies, including fresh fruit from Cronulla Gourmet Grocer, bread from Groundbake Bakery and breakfast packs kindly prepared by the students at Kareela Public School. We were also lucky to receive some pantry staples generously donated by members of our local community.

A huge thank you to all our amazing food sponsors, community donors, schools and dedicated volunteers. Your ongoing generosity and kindness help us provide not only delicious meals and essential groceries, but also a welcoming place where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Another wonderful night of good food, generosity and community connection! ❤️

Engadine One Meal (30/9/26)service was a nice and delightful night and thank you Engadine Community Services for the room.

They all tucked into the yummy lasagna, veggies, cheese, salad, passion fruit slice, custard, fruit salad and ice cream provided by OneMeal and the volunteers.
