One Meal - Sutherland Shire We now have three services across the shire in Cronulla, Miranda and Sutherland.

One Meal – It Makes a Difference is a not-for-profit, community organisation that helps to feed, clothe and support the homeless, disenfranchised, vulnerable and at-risk members of our local communities. One Meal - Sutherland Shire, was founded in July 2016 after realising a lack of adult male homelessness support and a high number of homeless people in the Sutherland Shire in general. We run enti

👏🏼So much gratitude to Julie and the wonderful team at Engadine Community Services, for their ongoing support of One Meal. From generously hosting our weekly Wednesday service in their premises, to serving as a pick-up and drop-off point for our Christmas hampers, and continually promoting One Meal wherever possible — their support means so much to us. ✨🎄🎁A Warm Summer’s Evening – One Meal Cronulla Christmas Dinner - 18 December 2025 🎁🎄✨

What a night! Our incredible team - Liz, Ruby, Steven, John, Karlyn, and Jenny, put on a fun filled celebration that truly captured the joy of the season.

We are so grateful to our amazing supporters who make One Meal possible all year round:

🎄Highfields Caringbah – for the delicious meals each week, and an extraordinary Christmas feast!
🎁 Cronulla Girl Guides – for always providing a welcoming space and helping hands.
🍊 Cronulla Gourmet Grocer – for donating fresh fruit every week for our patrons.
🍭Stax Foods (Fresh Roasted Nuts) – for the tasty snacks that everyone loves.
🍕Antonio’s Pizzeria – for the pizzas that brought smiles all around.
⭐️Our wonderful community – for the generous hampers filled with goodies that made Christmas extra special.

Together, we created a night of joy, laughter, and full tummies. Thank you for being part of our community. 💛🎄🎅 🎁💚

Team 3 Engadine OneMeal brought the sunny & warm weather with them on Wednesday night 17/12 Engadine Community Services and we welcomed Jade to our team. Thank you Jade for volunteering with OneMeal.

Always great to serve our patrons, especially when we have such amazing food donated.
Chicken satay, rice & steam veggies supplied by Mikes Grill & Bar Engadine
And fresh rolls from Bakers Delight

Thank you to Team 3 for baking, and bringing salads, desserts and lovely fresh fruit.

To round out the night, all patrons received breakfast packs prepared by St John Bosco College
Special thanks to our super reserve on the night Abigail. We couldn’t have served without you.

All the best to our patrons for the Christmas & New Year season. OneMeal will continue to serve throughout the holiday season, including Christmas Eve at Engadine, and Christmas Day at Cronulla

Sutherland Service: Sunday, Dec 14th
We had a lovely service on Sunday with The Prince Hotel providing a beautiful meal of Lamb curry, rice and salad for our patrons. This was supplemented by sugar peas by our volunteers. The patrons were also treated to amazing deserts including individual Christmas cakes and they took home fruit, bread rolls, breakfast packs and pastries generously donated by Flour bakery. Thanks again to all of our amazing volunteers for making this all possible and sending everyone home with full bellies and smiling faces!! 🙏

The main meal provided by Mike's Bar and Grill Engadine was beef stroganoff and steamed rice.

Our marvellous volunteers supplied a tossed salad and coleslaw.

Our guests were also provided with chrIstmas slice , lemon and raspberry tarts, a fruit platter, bananas and oranges.

They also took home breaky packs supplied by students at st John Bosco college and bread rolls supplied by Bakers Delight Engadine.

The Miranda service was a hit this afternoon with an amazing menu of sausages, rissoles, chops, risotto, veggies and caesar salad! We are so grateful to Diggers Miranda for their generosity- clearly nothing was left behind!

Patrons were also invited to select some toys for their loved ones thanks to the students from Aquinas Catholic College, Menai. We are so appreciative of the local support we have ☺️

Hi, and welcome to the One Meal - Sutherland Shire page.

One Meal - Sutherland Shire was established about three years ago (mid 2016) and has been providing a weekly meal for the homeless and those in need at Sutherland each Sunday afternoon since. A second weekly service was launched in March of this year at Cronulla and July will see the launch of our third weekly Sutherland Shire service at Miranda.

One Meal Sutherland Shire is proud to collaborate with Southern Community Welfare and The Salvo’s Miranda who work with us to provide further assistance for our patrons as and if required.
