We had a lovely luncheon on Monday, 20th April, with 3
visitors, hoping they may join us at our future luncheons.
Our speaker for the day was Bridget Brill with a great talk about her travels, we hope to have her back as she has many other stories to tell us, very interesting speaker.
The birthday ladies were Del Sullivan, Patricia Petersen and Jan Duffy, who was 90 yrs young. Congratulations, Jan, on reaching such a great milestone.
We held a 50 club, which was won by Judy Levitt, the lucky door was won by Mavis Blue, and raffles were won by Gwen McGivor, Carol Butler and Barbera Glew.
Next month is our birthday, so come in bright colours.

On Monday, 16 th March, we had about 30 women for our luncheon, with our speaker Martin Newbury, who gave us a lovely talk on the Spice Islands. There were some very interesting facts that we learnt about our spices and where they came from.

Our next outing is the Community Gardens on Friday 20th March. The lucky door went to Barbera Glew, and raffle winners were
Del Sullivan, Annette Boydel, Pam Cooper and Val Christie.

What a wonderful year we have had, with the last luncheon of the year being held on Monday, 15 th December, with 29 ladies attending.
Everyone is getting ready for their Christmas celebrations with family visiting or going to family’s homes.
The winner of our lolly jar was two ladies, those who guessed the right amount were Jenny Berry and Trish Deans.
Jenny let Trish have the prize, and we gave another prize to Jenny for being kind. There were a lot of raffle prizes, so there were quite a lot of smiling faces.
We will be returning on February 16 th , and it will be our AGM
I hope a few ladies will step up and take a position on the Committee for 2026. Just think it over, as with no Committee there will be no club, and I’m sure we don’t want that. I hope to see all of you next year. Merry Christmas to all, and have a happy New Year from all the Committee.

to see so many smiling faces, and to make it more enjoyable, we had our local choir sing for us, with everyone joining in with the songs and our beautiful conductor Dianne doing such a wonderful job. Also, we had a wonderful duet singing such a lovely love song. Thank you.

SUSSEX INLET DAY VIEW
We had a lovely lunch on Monday with 36 ladies in attendance. Our raffle winners were lucky door, Mary Barnes, and raffles being won by Barbera Glew and Jenelle Cropper. Our speaker for the day was Chrissy Edwards, who demonstrated ballet to music , which we all joined in doing, which was a lot of fun, a way to exercise either sitting or standing, and very relaxing. We had our monthly outing for a trip on the river in one of our many pontoons. It was such a lovely experience to be out on the river. Thanks to our driver, Pete, who had a lot of knowledge of the river to tell us about. The winners of the lucky door on our pontoon were
Trish Dean and Merline Griffiths.
