Hello Sunday Morning

Hello Sunday Morning Changing the world's relationship with alcohol, one Sunday at a time. Join the movement today and experience life without the hangover.

Our key offering, a program called Daybreak, is helping people to change their drinking habits one day at a time. Daybreak is a digital service that people can access through either an app or the web. It provides an anonymous and supportive environment for consumers to set alcohol change goals and to then work with health professionals to achieve them.

When someone you care about has a setback, it can be hard to know what to do next.

Change rarely happens in a straight line and one setback doesn’t mean all progress is lost.
In this clip, Andy Quin from , Professor Nicole Lee, CEO of Hello Sunday Morning and Debbie Warner from APOD Family Support reflect on supporting someone through the ups and downs of change, why there’s no single conversation that fixes everything and how simply staying connected can make a meaningful difference.

Sometimes, being there matters more than saying the perfect thing.

In case you missed it, we held a live webinar last week on supporting someone you care about when they’re trying to make a change. Catch the full replay via the link in our bio or on our homepage.

Want to join us live next time?
Join Professor Nicole Lee, Kate Powl and Dr Sarah White for a free webinar exploring what really happens when alcohol and women’s health intersect, plus practical ways to reduce its impact.

Leaving early isn't admitting defeat. It's recognising that you've reached the point where your best decision is to choose yourself.

Self-awareness isn't about predicting failure. It's about noticing the patterns that no longer serve you before they repeat themselves.

Sometimes the biggest win isn't staying longer. It's walking away with your peace, your energy and tomorrow still on your side.

For Rebecca, the turning point came when drinking stopped feeling enjoyable.

What started as a glass or two could become unpredictable and she reached a point where she knew she wanted things to change.

Six years on, Rebecca shares how stepping away from alcohol changed her life and how finding Hello Sunday Morning helped her shift from feeling lost and lonely to recognising what she could gain from making a change.

The benefits of drinking less aren’t always obvious at first.

Sometimes they’re as simple as waking up with more energy, feeling calmer, or being more present with the people you care about.

For Geoff, drinking gradually became a way of avoiding the difficult things happening in his life.

Recognising that was the beginning of making a change.

In our webinar, Making Change Stick: Practical Tips for Making Changes, Geoff joins Professor Nicole Lee and fellow lived experience panellist Rebecca Keevers to talk openly about his experience with alcohol and what helped him make changes that lasted.

Hear more from Geoff, Rebecca and Nicole in the full webinar.

Our thoughts aren't always facts. Sometimes our minds focus on one bad day and ignore all the progress we've already made.

Taking a step back helps you challenge those thinking patterns. Looking at the bigger picture creates space for self-compassion instead of self-judgment.

Growth starts with awareness, not perfection. Every insight helps you make choices that better support your mental well-being. 🌿

For some people, focusing on what they’re “missing out on” can make change feel harder. Instead, try shifting your attention to what you’re making space for.

Better sleep.
More energy.
Clearer mornings.
More presence.
More choice.

Everyone’s relationship with alcohol is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s finding what works for you.

💬 Has changing your mindset ever helped you make a different choice?

Have you ever accepted a drink you didn't actually want? You're not alone and you're certainly not the only one who has felt that pressure.

Choosing not to drink doesn't mean you're missing out. It means you're listening to what you really need instead of what others expect.

The next time you're offered another drink, pause for a second. Your honest answer might surprise you and empower you.

Start with support. Download the Daybreak app today via the link in bio.
