🔥 SURGES BAY COMMUNITY CHECK-IN 🏡

With summer and fire season just around the corner, we’d love to check in with our community. ❤️

Are you feeling prepared for the season ahead, or are there things you’re a little unsure about?

Whether it’s bushfire preparedness, power outages, looking after your property, or knowing what to do in an emergency, we’d love to hear what’s on your mind.

🤝 We’re also exploring the idea of some relaxed, practical workshops at the hall — a chance to learn a few useful skills, share knowledge and help us all feel a little more prepared for whatever the season brings.

We’d love your input!

🔥 Are you feeling prepared for bushfire season?
⚡ Would you find a power outage preparedness workshop useful?
🏡 What other emergency or preparedness topics would you like to learn about?
❤️ Would you come along to a community workshop at the hall?

There’s no pressure to have all the answers — that’s what learning together is all about!

Drop a comment below or send us a message. Your ideas will help us work out what would be most useful for our little corner of the Huon Valley. 🌿

A stronger, more prepared community starts with looking out for one another. ❤️

🏀⚽🏐 A LITTLE NOTE FROM US 💚
If you’re planning on using the hall or sports area during the school holidays and the kids are hoping to have a game, please bring your own sports ball for now.

Unfortunately, we’re still missing 2 basketballs, 1 soccer ball and 1 netball from our last events.

We’ve heard a few reports that some balls may have been kicked into the bush, so if your kids were playing and might know where they ended up, we’d love it if you could ask them....

And if you happen to discover some strangely familiar sports balls in the back of your car… or even one of our ear defenders 😂 … please send us a message!

We’d really love to get our equipment back so we can keep providing free activities for everyone. 💚

No awkward questions — we just want our balls home! 😂🙏
