The Table of St. Francis We simply offer a place at the table —no judgement, no conditions, just compassion. The Table of St. Francis of Assisi.

Francis is a Catholic charity group based on the Sunshine Coast, inspired by the spirit of St. We provide food, clothing, and companionship to people in need — especially the homeless and vulnerable. Our table is open to everyone, regardless of background or belief. Each meal is shared with love, dignity, and joy, reflecting the Franciscan values of simplicity, compassion, and service to others.

After days of rain, we know many of our friends on the streets have been doing it tough, trying to stay warm and dry. 🌧️

This morning, we served up stir-fried noodles with chicken and bread rolls, hoping to bring a little comfort and help them get through the weekend.

And as usual, hot coffee and tea were a big hit! ☕ With the rain bringing cooler temperatures, a warm meal and a hot cuppa make all the difference.

Rain or shine, there’s always a place at our table. ❤️

A little warmth on a rainy Monday night 🤎

The rain may have been falling, but there was warmth to be found around the table. This Monday night, we served up a hearty sausage curry with fluffy white rice — a comforting meal to help warm both bodies and spirits🍛

At The Table of St Francis, it’s about more than just a meal. It’s about showing up, sharing what we have, and reminding one another that even on the coldest, wettest nights, no one should have to face them alone.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteers who continue to show up with open hearts, rain or shine. 🤎

What a joyful day celebrating the Feast and Jubilee of St Francis! 🙏✨

A beautiful day of faith, friendship, food, culture and community — sharing laughter and fellowship around the table.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr Odinaka, St Joseph’s Nambour Parish, our volunteers, performers, supporters and everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration so special.
