Diphtheria is a contagious bacterial infection.

Help keep our mob safe by getting checked early.

If you have a skin sore or sore throat, see your local clinic. Ask if you and your family are up to date with vaccinations or need a booster.

Routine vaccines are free to eligible people.

Together, we can get diphtheria outta here!

Today is Mabo Day.
On 3 June 1992, the High Court of Australia overturned the myth of terra nullius, recognising the enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country.
Driven by the determination of Eddie Koiki Mabo and the Meriam people, this landmark decision changed the course of Australian history and paved the way for Native Title.
We recognise that connection to Country, culture and community are fundamental to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The legacy of Mabo continues to strengthen the fight for self-determination, justice and equity, values that remain at the heart of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector.
Today, we honour Eddie Mabo’s legacy 💙💚🤍

June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and a simple test could save your life.

Bowel cancer can develop without obvious symptoms, which is why screening matters.

The free bowel screening test (ages 45–74) is simple, private, and checks for early signs of cancer using a small stool sample.

Finding it early can save your live.
