Maroochy Little Athletics MLAC is about Fun, Fitness and Friendships. We offer a Family-friendly environment for children aged 3-16 to develop Athletic skills and build confidence.

Find us at Maroochydore High School Oval, September to March on Friday Nights. Established in 1981, Maroochy Little Athletics was the first little athletics centre on the Sunshine Coast. We are run 100% by volunteers. Our weekly meets are held every Friday night (weather permitting) from 5.30pm - 8.00pm (approx) from September to March at Maroochydore State High School Oval. We hold a number of ev

ents including sprints, hurdles, long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put and discus. We compete in Inter-Centre Carnivals and Regional Competitions throughout our season. At the end of the season we hold a medal/trophy ceremony to congratulate the kids on their great effort combined with our season break-up party. The philosphy of Little Athletics is Family, Fun and Fitness which we embody at our Centre. Our canteen is our major fund-raiser so have dinner and enjoy the social atmosphere after we finish our events.

This is a great opportunity to support Maroochydore State High School who has supported our Centre for countless years with use of their facilities so we have a home base for our Centre and Friday Night Competition.

🍽️TAFE Queensland and Maroochydore State High School warmly invite you to experience lunch at ‘Coast’, our Trade Training Centre.
🧑‍🍳Our talented Certificate II in Cookery students, under the guidance of 🧑‍🍳Chef Vic and 🧑‍🍳Chef Paul, are excited to showcase their skills with a delicious 3-course meal for just $25.

Maroochy Little Athletics would like to give a big shout out to all our Volunteers, not only during National Volunteer week but for every week throughout our season to the parents and grandparents that Volunteer on Friday nights and at carnivals that we attend. A big thank you to the committee members who volunteer their time for the next 12 months from the AGM in April each year. Our Centre is built on the foundations of volunteering and community so our children can have fun, make friends, get fit and learn new skills. 😃
