🎉 EXCITING NEWS, EVERYONE! WE’RE MOVING TO MALENY SHOWGROUNDS IN 2027! 🎉

The Sunshine Coast Kennel Club is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for our 2027 shows! 🐾

We’re heading to the beautiful Maleny Showgrounds for our shows on 20–21 March 2027, and we couldn’t be more excited about the opportunities this new venue brings for our exhibitors, vendors and spectators.

We recognise that moving a show is a significant decision. Our priority is to put on a great event for exhibitors while working within the restrictions of a venue that is an active sports and community ground owned by the council. This means we can be affected by changes and decisions outside our control, and any decision to change venues is not taken lightly. We simply ask for your support and to give it a try - you might just love it!

So, what’s exciting about this change?

🏕️ More space, LOTS more powered camping, better facilities! With significantly increased camping capacity, we’ll have more room to welcome exhibitors who want to camp.

🏆 Enhanced show and sports facilities! We’re looking forward to making the most of the grounds, with conformation exhibitors able to camp closer to the rings, and having a Double Element Scent Work Trial and Trick Trial on Sunday.

🍔 Red Dog's Roadhouse and The Souvlaki Guy will be on site all weekend to keep you fed and watered!!! 🤤

🌤️ A cooler show weekend! Maleny is usually around 3–5°C cooler than Beerwah, which is welcome news for our dogs and exhibitors.

We sincerely hope our exhibitors and supporters will continue to support the Sunshine Coast Kennel Club as we take this next step. Maleny is only around 20 minutes from Beerwah, so it is not a significant change for most people—and it is very much still on the Sunshine Coast. We truly believe this will be a fantastic event for all exhibitors and look forward to welcoming you to these grounds.

📅 SAVE THE DATE!
🗓️ 20–21 March 2027
📍 Maleny Showgrounds, Maleny, Queensland

Allocated camping information and maps will be released soon, with bookings opening in December 2026. Keep an eye on our page and club group for further announcements.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Sunshine Coast! 🐾
