When my time is done, I'll fade away,
Like a whisper in the wind, without a say.
No drama, no farewell, no final scene,
Just a gentle drift, into the silence serene.

Like a leaf that falls, I'll let go my hold,
Drifting on currents, of time grown old.
No struggle, no resistance, no regret,
Just the soft surrender, to what's yet to be met.

I'll close my eyes, and let the river flow,
Into the ocean's depths, where boundaries go.
No limits, no borders, just the endless blue,
Where I'll find my peace, my solace, anew.

In the stillness, I'll find my home,
Where words and arguments, are no longer known.
No fights, no struggles, just the gentle hush,
Of nothingness embracing, like a soothing rush.

In silence, I'll find my peace,
A sense of calm, that the world can't release.
No noise, no distractions, just the quiet deep,
Where I'll rest, and let my spirit creep.

"Later"
- Talk to you later.
- I'll call you later.
- See you later.
- We'll walk later.
"I'll tell you later."
We leave everything for later, but forget that "later" does not belong to us.
Later, our loved ones are no longer with us.
Later, we don't hear them and we don't see them.
Later, they are just memories.
Later, the day becomes night, the force becomes helpless,
the smile becomes a grimace, and life becomes death.
"Later" becomes "too late."

โ€œPeople you love never die...They don't die. Not completely. They live in your mind, the way they always lived inside you. You keep their light alive. If you remember them well enough, they can still guide you, like the shine of long-extinguished stars could guide ships in unfamiliar waters. If you stop mourning them, and start listening to them, they still have the power to change your life. They can, in short, be salvation.โ€

me: how long will you stay?
grief: for as long as you love them.
me: will i always be sad?
grief: a part of you, yes
me: what about the other parts?
grief: they will find a new way.
me: a new way for what?
grief: a new way to breathe.
to laugh.
to walk.
to wake up.
to create.
to experience nature.
to see the world.
to be courageous.
to hear music.
to carry hope.
to speak their names.
a new way to love from a nearby distance.
