Nurture Festival was a hit, we met some great people, shared some testimonies with some amazing young people🫶🙏

"We've got Wi-Fi but no connection." That was the title of Dr Leon Stensholm's Speakers Corner talk, and it landed with every parent in the crowd. 📵💜

Leon founded Lookout07 in 2023: a safe, welcoming space for Sunshine Coast young people aged 12 to 25, with mentoring, activities, free counselling and a lot of good food. This year they were named Best Community Group at the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Community Awards, and they were with us on the Foreshore too.

Thank you Lookout 07 and for being a beacon for our young people. 🙌

Before you can build a home, there’s a whole lot that has to happen behind the scenes. 👷‍♂️🏡
And the Lookout 07 Charity Home has had some absolute legends helping lay the groundwork from day one.

Massive thanks to Ground Drill, , Coastal Energy, , Winks and Stockland!
They’re a huge part of what made it possible.

A massive thank you to every business that contributed their time, expertise and resources to help bring this home 💛

It takes a community to build something this special.

Every person who built, supplied, supported, shared, visited or bid on the Lookout 07 Charity Home helped us work towards one thing:
Creating more opportunities for local young people to feel supported, connected and hopeful about their future.

And now we get to turn one incredible home into real impact.

That's what this entire project has been about.

Not simply building a home. Building brighter futures. 💙
