In Queensland, more than 250 young people are detained every day at a cost of approximately $1,000 per person, per day. Even more concerning, around 80% of those released will reoffend.

The reality is that detention alone is not solving the problem.

Prevention is key.

At Lookout07, we focus on reconnecting the disconnected. Through mentoring, counselling, positive relationships, and a safe, fun environment, we help young people build resilience, find belonging, and create a better future.

When we invest in prevention, we invest in safer communities, stronger families, and brighter futures for our young people.

One night behind bars. A lifetime of impact.

On June 5, our very own Andrew will be taking part in Locked Up for Lookout 07, raising funds for the Stensholm Foundation and its vital work supporting youth mental health across Australia.

To secure his release the following morning, Andrew needs to raise $5,000 in "bail." Every dollar raised will help provide young people with access to mentorship, connection, and early intervention when they need it most.
