We had a blast Craigslea SS!

Girls across Year 5 had an amazing opportunity today to participate in the Academy for Enterprising Girls Workshop. They worked digitally with Jacqueline Tate (a scientist who worked on the cochlear implant!) to identify global and local problems impacting on people and the planet and began formulating ideas on how to use technology to provide solutions.

Today we are celebrating by delivering a virtual 2-day design challenge to regional NSW school girls - key messages "think differently, break things (including ideas), and take all ideas on board. A collaboration between Engineers Without Borders Australia, University of Technology Sydney Women in Engineering and IT and the Tech Girls Movement Foundation. Thanks for supporting us Inspiring Australia!

Follow which is part of and shares the stories of women from rural regions of NSW who have forged amazing careers in STEM. Join us and share your STEM story this week!
