The Rotary Club of Sunbury, which was founded in 1973, is part of a secular international service organisation whose purpose is to bring together business and professional and other passionate like minded people. ave a membership of thirteen dedicated professional and business, and other like minded people who have a passion to help the community whether it be local, national or international. We meet at the Ball Court Hotel, 56-60 Macedon St, Sunbury on alternate Tuesdays at 6:30 for 7:00pm for an informal dinner, where we have a lot of fun as well as updating our plans for service projects for the community. Last Saturday four young folk from Sunbury together with others embarked on the Enterprise sailing ship at Gem Pier Williamstown.
The intrepid sailers have now returned and will talk to the Club next Tuesday about their experiences.
This program, Rotary Sail Training Challenge, assists 15 to 18 year old’s in gaining life skills and to form new friendships that will last a lifetime.
On the 29th of March the RC of Sunbury ran a Car Show in conjunction with the Sunbury Classic Car Club conducted a Car Show to help fund the above program.
We would like to thank our various sponsors and those who attended.
There were about 70 classic cars on display together with music, coffee and a sausage sizzle to make the event a success.

The Rotary Car Show and Shine is being run in conjunction with Macedon Ranges Macedon Ranges and District Motor Club and Sunbury Classic Car Club.
The funds raised will be used for the Rotary Sail Training Challenge on the ship Enterprize.
This program provides funding to assist 15 to 18 year old’s in gaining life skills and to form new friendships that will last a lifetime.

On Saturday the 28th of February we held the Lift the Walk for Mental Health. We had about 50 walkers who thoroughly enjoyed themselves, lots of laughter and fun. They enjoyed a sausage and a coffee after the walk, see the photos. A big thank you to those who attended and registered and to our various sponsors. Sponsors Logos are in the slideshow.
