Stall Holders Wanted for Affordable Christmas Market | Dec 19 | Applications close Oct 2!

We’re organising a Christmas edition of our affordable fruit and veg market and are looking for stallholders to join us! We’re welcoming local food vendors, florists, makers, designers, and community groups looking to connect with the community.

Holding a stall is free. We simply ask that you align with our affordable community market values. We have a limited number of undercover spots available under a shared marquee, otherwise we welcome you to bring your own setup.

Feeling safe at home shouldn’t be something anyone has to worry about. ❤️🏡

If you’re a senior, or you care for someone who is, Hume City Council offers free Home Safety Checks to help identify simple improvements that can make a real difference to safety, comfort and independence.

The checks can look at things like:
🏠 Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
🔑 Night latches
🔔 Doorbells
⛓️ Safety chains
…and other common home safety features.

While any replacement or installation costs still apply, the safety check itself is free and can provide valuable peace of mind.

Highlights of our last months Seniors Connect program.
Our Seniors Connect group had a wonderful session with Kelly from Hume City Council on home energy saving.
From understanding concessions and grants to practical tips for lowering bills, the information was clear, helpful and timely.
Thank you Kelly for taking the time to answer questions and give personalised advice. It's support like this that helps our senior residents feel informed and empowered during tough times.

Hume City Council is now offering Justice of the Peace (JP) Services at Craigieburn Library. A JP provides a free and essential service that makes it easier for you to get your legal documents certified and witnessed.

Some documents JP’s can help you with witnessing are:

✅certifying the ex*****on of a document
✅ witnessing a stat dec or affidavit
✅certifying true copies of an original document
✅certifying an individual’s identity
