2026 Earth Awards submissions are due July 31, which means there are just 2 months to go!

The Earth Awards is a celebration of civil construction excellence and a great opportunity to promote your capabilities and reward your team. There's a category to suit everyone with seven project value categories from under $2 million to over $150 million, and with head contracts and subcontract works both eligible. Plus, land development projects also qualify for the Land Development Earth Award.

Finalists are honoured and winners announced at the WA Earth Awards Gala Dinner, Friday, 16 October at Crown Perth.

May is Budget season, and this morning over 275 members joined CCF WA for our annual State Budget Infrastructure Breakfast.

CCF WA CEO Andy Graham presented a detailed analysis of the State and Federal Budgets – giving our industry a clear picture of the infrastructure investment landscape for 2026/27 and beyond across transport, energy, water and essential services.

Board members Mairead Breen, Leon Fogliani, Jason Flowerdew and Tinus Nagel then joined a panel to evaluate key projects and programs, and discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead for our industry.

Following the success of last year's inaugural Women in Civil Awards, we will once again present four Awards (three individual and one corporate) at our annual Women in Civil Lunch on July 16.

The Women in Civil Awards categories are:

πŸ† Industry Leader, recognising ongoing achievement and commitment to excellence and equity by a woman in a leadership role in the WA civil construction industry.

πŸ† Emerging Leader, recognising achievement and commitment to excellence and equity by a woman working in the WA civil construction industry, who is still relatively early in their career.

πŸ† Trainee/Apprentice, recognising an outstanding woman who is currently undertaking, or has recently completed, an apprenticeship or traineeship.

πŸ† Corporate Leader, recognising a company active in the WA civil construction industry that has championed gender equity and shown ongoing commitment to inclusive workplaces.

We're excited to announce the speaker lineup and opening of ticket sales for the 2026 State Budget Infrastructure Breakfast!

State Government investment in transport, energy, water and other essential infrastructure is a mainstay of WA’s civil construction sector. Our annual State Budget Infrastructure Breakfast looks at the infrastructure pipeline for 2026/27 and beyond from both the government and private sectors. CCF WA CEO Andy Graham will present a detailed analysis of the government’s infrastructure investment plans, and then a panel of industry leaders will evaluate key projects and programs, and discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead for our industry.
