Our home for the next 3 nights! 🌿☀️🍻

Mr Oltrop has finally been granted parole from the workshop and is enjoying a well-deserved break. 😜

Hard to believe that Douglas Daly was under water during our wet season. Mother Nature certainly had her way, but she’s worked her magic and restored this beautiful place once again.

Now it’s time for cold drinks and me taking photos while Mr Oltrop finds jobs to do that absolutely don’t need doing! 😂

Before & After Transformation ✨

What was once a tired, cluttered laundry area has been completely transformed into a modern, functional and stylish space.

What a transformation! Custom joinery by Mr Oltrop and the team at Fusion Joinery & Maintenance, beautiful glass and French door by Mr Brooks from Pete's Glass and Aluminium, and all electrical work completed by my handsome son, 🫶

Mr Brooks and Mrs Brooks (aka my ❤️L❤️) also completed the remaining works, from painting through to the final finishing touches that brought the whole project together.

Can safely say no divorces came out of this project! 😂 There were a few disagreements here and there — especially with Jay’s and his 5 cents’ worth on which colour lights were best, and poor Davina sanding by hand only to discover Mr Brooks had an electric sander all along! 🤦‍♀️😂 But they got there in the end, and the result speaks for itself. 👏🏡✨

From a basic laundry and storage area to a stylish and functional space — an amazing result! 👏🏡✨
