AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP - CITY OF SYDNEY | Our Sydney Young Social Entrepreneur Sprint included our Social Impact workshop to a room full of young social entrepreneurs with Milly Bannister from joining us as our amazing guest speaker.

We covered how to measure impact properly, how to build a sustainable model around social good and how to tell your story in a way that actually drives change. These are exactly the skills we wish someone had taught us but never did, all delivered in a session that was high energy and hands on from start to finish.

We covered how to communicate who you are, how to position your strengths with confidence and how to build a presence that actually gets noticed. These are exactly the skills we wish someone had taught us but never did, all delivered in a session that was high energy and hands on from start to finish.

AMERICAN SCHOOL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP - STATE OF MINNESOTA | A fantastic couple of days working alongside the State of Minnesota.

Get Ready GEAR UP Minnesota is a federally funded program supporting students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, in preparing for life after high school through academic support, college and career planning and financial aid guidance.

This marked our first time delivering our flagship Entrepreneurial Summit in the state, bringing together 300+ secondary school students at the University of Minnesota to explore the life skills we believe every young person deserves access to, including communication, public speaking, leadership, networking and problem solving.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF EMPLOYMENT - DIGITAL SOLUTIONS PROGRAM | Our first Digital Solutions workshop with Coonamble Shire Council was fabulous. The workshop focused on 'Exploring AI: Creating Content, Photos and Videos', giving local small business owners a practical introduction to how AI can be used in everyday business. Participants worked through how to use AI tools to generate ideas, create written content, produce images and videos and improve day-to-day business communications.

The feedback from participants said it best.

Anita Murray, Conex Services: the workshop “definitely gave me more confidence in using it in the office.”

A huge thank you to Coonamble Shire Council for helping promote the workshop through local newspapers including Coonamble Times and for backing practical digital capability support for local businesses.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP - CITY OF SYDNEY | Our Sydney Young Social Entrepreneur Sprint continued as we delivered our Financial Literacy workshop to a room full of young founders.

We covered how to manage money as a founder, how to actually approach investment and how to build the right money mindset to back yourself for the long run. These are the exact skills we wish someone had taught us growing up but never did, and watching this cohort engage with them so openly was something else. A special thank you to the amazing Darren Fittler for being our guest speaker for the session!

The session was high energy and hands on from start to finish, with founders working through real scenarios rather than just theory. Looking forward to seeing how this group puts these skills into action as they keep building their ventures.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF EMPLOYMENT - DIGITAL SOLUTIONS PROGRAM | It was a productive afternoon at our ASE Haymarket Launchpad with small business owner, Dr Nagwa Winget, the Founder of TUT Textile

Dr Winget joined us for a face-to-face 1.5 hour Digital Solutions mentoring session, working through practical ways to strengthen the digital side of her business, from business software and systems through to the power of AI for content creation.

That is exactly what the Australian Government’s Digital Solutions Program is about: sitting down with small and micro-business owners, understanding what they actually need and helping them put practical digital tools to work in their business.

Last week, we had the opportunity to gift the Minister for Small Business Dr. Anne Aly one of Dr Winget’s TUT Textile towel sets, so it was great to check back in with Nagwa this week, hear how things are progressing and stock up on a few more office towels.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP - SYDNEY YOUNG SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR SPRINT | We launched our multi-year partnership with the City of Sydney for the Sydney Young Social Entrepreneur Sprint, Sydney's first ever social enterprise incubator. Designed for young social entrepreneurs, delivered by real young social entrepreneurs.

Even with the rain, it was awesome to see our 2026 cohort come with so many smiles and high energy at Canva. A massive shout out to my team who delivered the first workshop of the program in such an incredible way.

THE ASE GROUP - MEET & GREET | Today, we welcomed the Federal Member for Brisbane, Madonna Jarrett MP to our new Brisbane City Launchpad! It was a fabulous opportunity to introduce her to our local team and share more about the work we’re delivering across Brisbane to support local small businesses, entrepreneurs and people exploring self-employment.

We briefed her on our delivery of the Australian Government’s Self-Employment Assistance Program across Greater Brisbane with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and Amanda Rishworth MP, helping people start and grow their own businesses through practical support, training and mentoring.

We also shared an update on the Australian Government’s Digital Solutions Program with Commonwealth Treasury, Department of Industry, Science and Resources and Anne Aly, including the new on-demand tutorials available to Queensland small and micro-business owners through our work alongside BUSY At Work.

A wonderful conversation about local jobs, small business and how we can continue making practical support easier to access across Brisbane.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP - LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS | Round two with this incredible group in Wollongong, this time diving into Adaptive Leadership.

80 young people aged 12 to 18 spent the day building the skills to lead through change and uncertainty, growing both their confidence and their resilience along the way. We explored what it really means to lead when things do not go to plan, how to stay grounded under pressure and how to bring others along with you rather than just pushing through alone.

It was a full day of growth and the energy matched it every step of the way. Thanks to everyone who showed up ready to lead!
