One of the best things about living and working on a dairy farm is collecting fresh milk every day and taking it home to enjoy.

Just look at the cream line our Guernsey girls have produced! 😋 Over one-third of the bottle is rich, delicious cream. This photo is a great example of one of the defining characteristics of Guernsey milk—its naturally high butterfat content.

There's nothing better than skimming that thick cream straight off the top and using it in so many different ways—whether it's poured over desserts, added to coffee, whipped for baking, or simply enjoyed fresh. It's just another reason we love our Guernsey girls! 🐮🥛💛

Riverton Guernseys Classification Results - 11th of June 2026 🇦🇺

We were fortunate to have Rob Marshall from Holstein Australia visit the farm and complete classifications on 19 Guernsey cows, 1 Guernsey bull, and 1 Ayrshire cow. We were absolutely thrilled with the results and very proud of how our cattle performed.

We would like to thank Rob for his time, professionalism, and detailed assessment of our cattle 🧡🤍

✨Standout results were two aged cows being elevated to Excellent (EX 90)✨:

⭐️ Riverton Grumpy Liz (EX 90) – Grumpy Liz becomes the 3rd consecutive generation in her family to achieve an Excellent classification, further cementing the family's reputation for outstanding quality, longevity, and consistency.

⭐️ Riverton Taboo Pet (EX 90) – Taboo Pet becomes the 2nd consecutive generation in her family to achieve an Excellent classification. Along with consecutive generations of Very Good (VG) Cows.

We couldn't be prouder of this special cow and everything she has achieved. It has been incredibly rewarding to see her continue to excel, and we're thrilled to see her being showcased to her full potential by her new owners.

Bingo has always been a standout, combining exceptional dairy strength, style, and an outstanding udder, and these results are a testament to her quality.

Congratulations to her new owners on presenting her so beautifully and achieving such fantastic success with her at one of Australia's most prestigious shows.

Riverton Design Luficer is a son of Hi Guern View Charming Design (USA) — a classy bull with a lot of great traits.

Luficer comes from the same family as Riverton Larry.

Luficer has been working alongside our next generation of heifers coming through that are set to calf down at the start of September. He also has now started leaving new progeny on the ground from some of the cows within the herd. The calves definitely are a beautiful sight and don’t disappoint.

More exciting times ahead 🔥

A Riverton Larry post has been one of our most requested lately, with plenty of messages coming through after Riverton Larry Fire success on the show scene 👏

Riverton Larry Fire has been on an incredible run this year, taking out Junior Champion at the Heytesbury Show, followed by Senior Champion at the Northern Guernsey Cattle Society Kyabram Calf Day — a result we’re extremely proud of.

Larry is still here on the farm, doing what he does best — working quietly behind the scenes and helping bring through the next generation. His impact continues to show in the quality coming forward.

Exciting times ahead 🔥

✨✨✨2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show✨✨✨

Riverton Guernseys proudly had one cow representing the stud name at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show — and what an incredible result it was!

Riverton Crown Royal Bingo was crowned Senior Champion Cow and also awarded Best Vessel in the Guernsey Show! 🥹

In mid-March this year, Bingo was purchased by Duncan & Danielle Chesworth. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Duncan and Danielle on this outstanding achievement. We couldn’t be more happier for you both, and are thrilled to see Bingo in the spotlight that she deserves. We know that she is in such great hands. Hopefully will see her feature in many more shows to come.

Bingo is no stranger to success — in the 2025 Victoria–Tasmania On-Farm Challenge, she was named Reserve Senior Champion and also received Honourable Mention for Best Vessel.

We are incredibly proud of our little Bingo and the cow that she has become. Can’t wait to watch her continue to grow, develop, and shine under her new ownership. 🌟
