For Wild Places For Wild Places is dedicated to turning passionate outdoor enthusiasts into wild place advocates, through sport. We call it Sports Activism.

For Wild Places hopes to create lasting change within the outdoor space. Our desire to harness the power of movement and energy is not a fad; it’s a commitment to life-long action and engagement. We hope that the ripples we create will spread far and wide, reaching the global outdoor community. The early days of FWP will focus on harnessing the community we know best, by focusing on trail running and the existing relationships and extensive experience we have within the sport.

⚠️ TRACTION Melbourne Postponed ⚠️

The weather forecast for Saturday isn't looking very kind, so we've made the difficult decision to postpone TRACTION Melbourne.

While we're disappointed not to gather with you this weekend, our priority is delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Rather than slogging through muddy trails and a soggy clean-up, we'll wait for kinder conditions.

We're currently confirming a new date and will announce it shortly, so stay tuned.

We can't wait to get out on the trails with you, connect with our community, and help care for this beautiful part of Melbourne together. 🌿

This September, we're heading back to the heart of the Pilliga for another unforgettable weekend of running, community, conservation and connection on Gomeroi Country.

Whether you're chasing the challenge of the 50km Ultra, exploring the sandstone escarpments on the 20km Scramble, tackling the technical and fun 10km, or taking on the legendary Grand Slam, there's an adventure waiting for you.
