Stratford Pony Club will be cheering on our members heading to Bacchus Marsh for the 2026 State Games, Flat & Musical Ride Championships this weekend!
An extremely dedicated group of riders, who have already made our club very proud.

Have fun Bethany, Lara, Heath, Maddie, Emmy, Nakita, Leilani and to the best team supporter - Payton!

💚🖤The Illoura Downs Riding For Abbie Resilience Award 🖤💚
This was a tough one to judge, with so many examples of competitors showing determination, courage, composure, grace and sportsmanship, and honestly, there could have been so many winners.

The winner was chosen after Silky heard a simple statement. When entering, riders were asked a series of questions, to be used by the MC during cross country. The winner, when asked "what is your greatest equestrian achievement," simple stated "still riding after having so many setbacks."

That was enough for Silky to need to know more, and what a story.

Amelee A from Stratford Pony Club in East Gippsland, you are all of those things; courageous, determined, positive, kind and strong. You are a most deserved winner of the Riding For Abbie Resilience Award. Congratulations on behalf of Colac Pony Club, PCV Barwon Zone, Pony Club Victoria, Illoura Downs and Silky. We hope your prize reminds you often that you are an amazing person 💚🖤

Stratford Pony Club are very proud to be cheering on Ruby and Amelee as they head to Colac to compete at the Pony Club Victoria State Horse Trials.

Together with their horses, Billie and Kane, the girls will be representing not only our club, but the East Gippsland Zone. This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and dedication they have shown throughout the season.

We wish Ruby, Amelee, Billie, and Kane the very best of luck for the weekend. Enjoy the experience, ride confidently, and make the most of this incredible opportunity!

All available people please pop out and lend a hand. It is YOUR ZONE event.

East Gippsland Zone Horse Trials are fast approaching.

We need some extra hands on deck to help prepare the course and environs.

This is a ZONE event and the work shouldn’t be left up to the Rosedale pony club crew. So if you have a moment and are available for the working bees PLEASE come on over and help where you can.

Bring some meat to throw on the BBQ afterwards and share a laugh with others.
