A very big thank you to those that attended our general meeting & AGM last night. Our office bearers for the next 12mths are as follows:

We’d like to say thankyou to Clara Swaffield for her time as secretary. Clara has decided to step down from the executive committee but will stay on as a general committee member to help out when she can.

Thank you to the Stanwell community for their ongoing support 😁 the last 12mths have been productive and we are looking forward to the next 12mths.

Hi everyone 😊 friendly reminder that our general meeting and AGM is on tonight from 5:30pm at the hall. There will be a free bbq, and drinks for purchase. BYO is welcome. As always with our AGM all committee positions become vacant and new committee members are elected. Please consider becoming a part of the Stanwell Progress Assoc Committee. Our team work hard to maintain the Stanwell Hall, the Stanwell Cemetery and help our community keep in touch. We understand that people are reluctant to join the Progress Committee because they are afraid that they’ll get sucked into a black hole of never-ending time commitment. Honestly, we would be happy for any time you could commit and we would work as a team to help each other. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight. Thanks for your ongoing support.

We had another great night at Kabra Country Hotel 🤩 Hawaiian shirt bingo was a big hit! Thanks to Jo, Krystal, James, Chloe and the whole team for a fun night. And thank you to everyone that came along to play. Your support means a lot to our community.

Today is about recognising the incredible volunteers who pull on the yellow when their community needs them most.

Here at Stanwell Rural Fire Brigade, we’re more than just a brigade, we’re neighbours, friends, families and locals looking out for one another.

Whether it’s responding to fires, helping during emergencies, preparing our community or simply lending a hand, our volunteers proudly give their time to help keep our little community safe. 💛

Today we say a huge THANK YOU to every Rural Fire Service volunteer across Queensland.
