[PARK NEWS] Today NATE represented THE PARK at the Australian Beach Run Grand Prix as part of the Bayside Run Festival.

NATE competed in the 150m, 400m, 800m Beach Run and teamed up with his Wanda mate Ryan in the 2x2x500m Relay.

NATE came away with GOLD in all FOUR events. An awesome achievement!!

[THE PARK] We are saddened to share the passing of long-standing member MICHAEL NUGENT, who passed on 15 May 2026, aged 80.

Michael joined Helensburgh–Stanwell Park SLSC in 1960 at just 14, gaining his Bronze Medallion in 1962 alongside a group of local boys.

He served as a dedicated patrol member for 20 years from 1962 to 1982, and remained involved as an Associate and Long Service Member.

Our condolences are with his family and all who knew him. 🕊️

Family and friends are invited to attend his service on Tuesday 26 May, 12pm at H. Parsons Funeral Home, Bulli, followed by burial at Helensburgh Cemetery.

[SEA EELS] WE DIVE INTO WINTER SWIMMING TOMORROW

Coalcliff Pool, every Sunday morning.
Time trials from 9:00am
First heat at 9:30am

Thinking about giving WINTER SWIMMING a go? Come along. We’re a relaxed, family-friendly club and welcome anyone who can swim 50m unassisted. With handicap racing, everyone has a genuine shot.

Post-swim, head around to the Helensburgh-Stanwell Park Surf Club to warm up with homemade soups, fines, our weekly raffle and joker poker.

AGM at 11am.
