2. the Greenhouse Studios farewell party in June of 2025
REFUGIA was party for the history books. The walls were dripping with a rare ecstatic sense of community warmth and joy.
Everyone came together to create a surreal oasis of art, play and tenderness of the highest calibre.
By the time morning came Greenhouse Studios had been wrapped in a bow and sent off with love.
Thank you to everyone who contributed but especially the incredible crew of artists and helpers - Alia, Adam, Adriana, Antony, Morgan, Em, Dakota, Sam, Yolanda, Lorcan, Russell, Emma May, Megan, Joe, Alex, Tilda, Nikeeta, Jay, Juliette, Sean, Bernie, Saxon, Nyx, Sophie, Jonathon, Brook, Miles, Kit, Esther, Eleni, Abdul, Kilia, Grace, Niki, Milly, Chile, Cam, Theo and EVERYONE else who put in that extra bit of energy into making this night the dream that it was.

REFUGIA took place on the unceded lands of the Gadigal and Wangal people. While Greenhouse Studios no longer exists in physical space its memory is held on this stolen Aboriginal land once called Bulanaming. We pay our deepest respect to the rightful owners of this land and any First Nations people in our extended community.
