🇱🇹 Baltic Way — We Stand Together 🇱🇻🇪🇪

Every year, we gather to commemorate the Baltic Way — a moment in history when Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians joined hands across the Baltic states and stood together for freedom.

It is easy, as the years pass, to think of it simply as something that happened in the past. But the reason we continue to gather, remember and stand together each year is because traditions keep our history alive.

For those who remember the Baltic Way, it carries memories of hope, courage and the strength of ordinary people standing together.

For those who were born later — and especially for our children and grandchildren — these traditions give them a connection to where we came from, what our people endured, and why our language, culture and community matter.

Standing together today may look very different from standing hand in hand across the Baltics in 1989. But the message remains just as important:

We remember. We belong. We stand together. 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪

So let’s continue this tradition — not simply because we have always done it, but because we want the next generation to know why it matters.

Once again, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians came together to remember the Baltic Way and celebrate the strength that comes from standing together.
